Views , room was lovely

Staff in bar in evening rather unhelpful , turned a couple away before 9.30 for food , where is the nearest place to eat nearby ? Told bar closed at 10.30 , fair enough but as we were staying the offer of a last drink would have been nice. Quite expensive to stay also , expect better really . They couldn't wait to get away it seemed , we have stayed many times over the years won't be rushing back sadly.

Our stay at the Bridge Hotel was everything we wanted for an overnight in the Lake District.

A quintessential and good looking Lakes Hotel, great location with views of the mountains from the luxuriously furnished room with a lovely comfortable bed. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Absolutely nothing to not like.

Great location, food in pub was excellent

definitely not worth the £300ish for one night. 2 single beds ridiculously springy and very uncomfortable.

Very pleasant

Reception staff excellent. Room very comfortable with a modernised bathroom. Breakfast good.

The bar food was adequate but the restaurant is only open at weekends in October

Disapointing!!!!

The location.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Last time we had a beautiful room, the staff were wonderful and we were given good value for money. This time we were put in a tiny cramped room, we were refused breakfast at 9.45 and were treated with disgust when we came in just after midnight from a wedding. For £250 a night we expect a decent room and much better service. Not good enough!!

Absolutely brilliant place to stay in all ways. A real diamond in an amazing place.

Our stay at Bridge Hotel was magical. It is surely one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and helpful going the extra mile. Our room was brilliant. It was so clean and comfortable. Having the drying room was great to dry our walking boots and wet suits. Food was brilliant.

There was nothing not to like. The Bridge Hotel is a brilliant place to stay.

Great time

Everything. Beautiful place, very good room, very soft and warm bed, crystal clean . Very nice breakfast and huge portions of evening meal in hotel`s pub.

Don't like exact time for breakfast - 8.00 or 8.15 or 8.45 Like when time is flexible.

Perfect place for walkers

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. The dinner was excellent too. Great location for walkers. You can start a lot of walks direct from the Hotel.

Exceptional

Luxurious yet cozy room, balcony with views of the mountains. Staff were extreme hospitable. Great range of food options in the pub. Gorgeous guest lounge to sit and read. Great vegetarian options on the breakfast menu.

Enjoyed our first visit to Buttermere a good place to stay for visiting the area

A lovely dining room excellent breakfast Sad dining room closed for dinner but understand the difficulties being experienced by many others as well

The hotel is beautiful and so historic for the area. The colleagues are lovely and attentive. the food was of a very high standard.
