The large onsen which had warm, hot and cold baths with sauna

I chose this hotel because I had stayed in it before. While it was a business hotel, there were a few features that made me choose it again. One was the location, a five-minute walk from Hakata Station. Another was the excellent public onsen adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast was a good buffet, and I was quite touched that one the breakfast staff remembered me from some five years earlier. There were washing machines on three different floors which was useful.

Walking distance from Fukuoka station and lots of shops/ restaurants nearby, including a convenience store around the corner.
Not enough washer/dryers for the number of people staying there as had to wait to use them (and the clothes never did get dry!)

While onsen water remained good, the management should improve to ensure the users privacy. A few users were not considerate and even using phone facetime in the changing room. This happened when my wife was using the onsen.
The reception staff refused to call up taxi service for our departure claiming the taxi was busy in the rainy day.
