Snowdon House was just excellent! Our room, though a little on the small size, had everything we could possibly need for a weeks stay! The bathroom was brand new and impeccably clean. The hospitality tray was well stocked daily and the bed was super comfy! Breakfast was plentiful with a great choice of dishes/diets catered for. Sally’s hubby makes a mean poached egg too! The location of Snowdon house is perfect for the beach and the old town. Shanklin is hilly and the beach is a short walk from your accommodation… but what goes down must come up… which is where the Shanklin cliff lift comes in very handy … it’s worth a pound of anybody’s money! The shanklin Chine is also worth a shout. We were first timers on the island but I don’t think it will be our last visit!

We visited during a hot spell and the room was particularly warm at times ( but I’m sure if we’d asked for a fan it would have been sorted.
