It was neat and tidy, location was great. Didn't have any issues in terms of noise
The room was very small, the cost overall was a bit excess but also understand the location would have played a part

Clean well decorated and good place to stay
Some of the other guests were noisy checking out early which woke us as they were chatting on the landing but that is because i have to write something

What a lovely hotel this is. In a great location, very good value, very comfortable, lovely staff.
There is nothing we didn’t like. It’s a real find.

We loved:
- The funky decor
- The location
- The staff (never met but were super polite and friendly over WhatsApp)
- The contactless check in and check out
- The handwritten welcome note, sandwich, and free tea and biscuits in the morning
- The fridge and free drinks
- The big window with wooden shutters
- How comfy the bed was
We didn't like:
- No lift (we know it's a townhouse and may not be possible to add one, but we were on the top floor)
- Although lovely, it was a very small room and bathroom where myself and my husband had to plan how we moved around each other to make sure we could access different parts of the room or bathroom
- We booked 2 rooms and our friends loved what we did, but they didn't have a wardrobe or anywhere to put clothes, and the bed was pushed against the wall which meant one person was crawling over the other.
As well as the above, the main thing that let this place down was the general maintenance issues that would be considered cheap and easy fixes:
- A crack on the sink
- Loose light fitting
- One plug socket trapped partly under the headboard so only one side was usable
- It had been cleaned on a surface level, but there was an ornament on the bedside table that was caked in dust and lots of thick dust under the fridge that was visible
- The kettle had bits of build up that floated around in the water so we didn't make any tea or coffee during our stay
- Toilet seat was too small for the toilet
- Wardrobe handles were loose and needed tightening
- The bathroom extractor fan didn't work so our room got damp and really hot when showering
- we were given a lovely free tea in the morning which is such a lovely gesture, but it was in a cracked teapot with a broken lid
