Great location just steps from the ferry, but did not feel overly busy or loud. Lovely view of the bay and gardens. Spacious and comfortable room, with a wonderful, deep soaking tub and plenty of hot water! Staff was efficient and warm. Breakfast was ample, with both menu choices and buffet options.
Wish the weather could have been better, but that was not in control of the hotel! Also be warned, if you do not have a car, dinner options in the town are quite limited. Dinner at the hotel was delicious, as was the nearby resort, but you will need to plan ahead with reservations.

We got a free upgrade to a slightly larger room but facing the courtyard, not a sea view.
The banquette seats in the dining room are worn away and showing off their plastic-ness.
Also the chains for blinds in the bedroom (room 106) were not fixed as they should be at the bottom - a strangle risk especially for children.

The hotel was extremely convenient both for the ferry terminal and for sight-seeing on the island. Outside, the car park was convenient and it was easy access to the walk along the Brodick promenade. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a modern room with plenty of space in the extended part of the hotel and we found it quiet and very comfortable.
For the price, the food on offer at the hotel for breakfast and other meals was distinctly average - the standard was more of a "bar meals" standard.I would stay here again but make every effort to eat elsewhere.

Location is fantastic. This was a treat for just one night as it’s that expensive to stay here. The two ladies that work at reception are absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming and good at their job.
The beds/pillows are starting to get quite tired. The two ladies at reception are a credit to the hotel. Bubbly and very welcoming compared to staff elsewhere unfortunately. Every time we visit the restaurant/bar, the staff aren’t great. After waiting for so long to order our drinks etc, I got up to find someone to place the order. The drinks were eventually prepared and put on the bar to sit while the young staff member started serving other people. I got up again to bring our drinks over as we had finished our food at this point.
