The staff were really good. The location was good, could walk to other parts of the island.
The food was average. There was no facilities to purchase any snacks. You can walk to most places on the island, you do not need to get a boat as the staff advised. The toilet kept blocking. There is only cold water shower, didn’t bother us, but as long as you’re aware.

The pool was relaxing. Loved the snorkeling off the pier. The food is fresh and good.
We had no water pressure to shower and wash hair and had difficulty brushing teeth. The toilet barely flushed.

Amazing staff! Went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome! They took the time to learn my children's names and greeted us every day, brought them coloring pencils and books to keep them entertained without being asked. We were truly treated like family from the beginning. I also liked that it is more private than some of the other hotels on the island. There's a great place to see the bioluminescence just 2 mins from the hotel and they take you there for free. Would highly recommend!

The island had a decent pool with access to the bar. We saw how the pool was cleaned daily (however the side walls of the pool looked like it has never been cleaned properly).
Access to the bar from the pool was a highlight, however even though the workers were very friendly and with the best attitude you could tell management has not invested money in keeping the place appealing with the years. Barman had a fan on the middle of the ceiling that fully rusted (but working) and he did not have a fridge big enough to keep soft drinks/ liquor cold, which make the service slower by asking someone to run back and down to get the whole ingredients to make cocktails.
The rooms were super comfortable with AC and decent enough mattress and sheets. I had great night sleep, shower was also well maintained and cleaned.
The cashier was amazingly clear and friendly, answered every doubt and helped us much as she could.
It seems half of the workers were being trained, the current receptionist should not work in a customer service role, you could see how disorganised and messy everything was just by listening to the workers talking to each other and most of all the current receptionist being super rude to other workers.
After the booking was made through this app, it was super difficult to contact someone from the Hotel to provide clear information on how to access the island.
We also did not receive any information on activities that could have been done on the island, besides going to the lagoon at night time.
The same day we left we overhear other guests talking about another island that was connected to Cocoliso, but no one ever provided a map or options on how to spend our time there.
Since we arrived I wanted to make sure the hotel was paid and they could not confirm on their end due to an issue in their system, fair enough. However I enquired for transport prices before arriving, and the value given when we were going to check out was different to the one provided via WhatsApp, receptionist finally charged us the correct amount but it was a total mess and did not feel like we were paying for a private stay.
The worst part ever was the return on the boats, for some reason the tiny boat was not full so the workers driving it decided to stop in two other different islands wasting everyone’s time, this could have been OK if someone would have explained to us, however since no one did, we asked on the boat and it seems they did not like our query and decided to drive back at max speed throwing so much water onto us that we arrived back at port absolutely wet, from our feet to our head, we were traveling with a kid and older people and they did not care. Please note I would have understood if the weather was bad but everyone else from any other boat arriving at the same time than us arrived completely dry and happy.
