Really enjoyed our stay in spacious and cozy appartement with access to good spa facilities

Le Cristal de Jade is well positioned. Right next to Midi lift for off piste skiing and 5 minutes of slow walk from Chamonix South bus stop that offers bus link to all ski areas. There is a secure in-door garage and spa facilities are not busy and very good.

There is busy road right next and your room might have view with the road.

We had a great time and would stay again.

Everything was new, very clean. Great view, quiet. Had all the amenities needed. Modern. Fantastic location.

Hot tub wasn't hot every time we went down. It was hot for a couple minutes and then got cold. Front desk should be open longer, 8am - 8pm didn't work for us. The bedrooms were really small, there werent any dressers or places to put our clothes away. The pillows were terrible. Our dishwasher smelled terribly, we didn't use it.

Great hotel in Chamonix

The hotel was great, we had everything we could want, the location was close to city center, steps away from the cable car Aguille de Midi. The rooms were spotless clean, more than decent size, sleep quality was good. The staff was helpful and nice. The fact that you have an in house spa, underground parking and ski lockers is a big bonus. We can only recommend Cristal de Jade for a great stay in Chamonix.

The heat management policy was not exactly our cup of tea. It was a little too cold for us and also for our friends, staying in the room below us. It will surely depend from guest to guest as to how warm you want to have your room so this is not a big -. The problem was taken care of after a talk with the front desk. The lights in the apartment could be a little brighter.

Beautiful accommodation in an exceptional location

beautiful building and reception area. Stunning room. Great pool and spa area. Great secure and fully covered parking. Great location for town centre, right next to Aguile Du Midi

New, apartment interior lovely chalet style, good size gym, decent pool/sauna area

No A/C, traffic noise. Make sure to book in Chalet C or facing the atrium in Chalets A/B. Apartments in A/B facing the road are not worth the money. If you're used to 5 star hotels, this is not for you although Cristal meets 5 star conditions for apartments.

Amazing stay at a beautiful hotel with the nicest staff

This was my 3rd visit to Le Cristal de Jade, and I absolutely loved it. Their hotel apartments are stunning and have all the amenities that you would need throughout the stay. The staff is some of the most kindhearted, helpful and service minded people you can find. They helped me tremendously during the stay and made sure me and my family had a perfect stay there. I can highly recommend this place, and I will certainly be coming back shortly.

Good kitchen with most needed appliances (considering we were travelling as a family). Lovely warm indoor pool - my daughter loved it and there were no restrictions on hours for children accessing it. Lovely view!!! Cosy apartments.

Bathrooms need a deep clean! Ventilation is poor in the bathrooms and it can get stuffy (if you like a hot shower!).

lovely property, staff, and location! would love to come back in the summertime!

the staff were so helpful and friendly! the location is fantastic with very easy access to ski areas (if even a 20 minute walk if you don’t want to wait for the bus). also close walk to grocery store and town.

the only gripe was the sauna/pool/hammam which is signposted not for under 16, but was filled with children who were screaming, splashing and running around the spa area.

* Comfortable beds * Apartment with a really nice design, decent size livingroom/kitchen * Wine fridge NB! For skiers: Gondola/cable car (to the Aiguille du Midi) next to the apartments isn’t for skiing

Here are few things to consider before booking an apartment with MGM in Chamonix vs a 5-star hotel or even a good 4-star hotel: * Check-in is 5pm * Check-out is 10am, don’t forget to clean the kitchen and collect all your trash. Makes me wonder if there are apartments where you have to vacuum, do the laundry, etc. * Cleaning of the room during your stay is 80€ * Gondola/cable car (to the Aiguille du Midi) next to the apartments isn’t for skiing * Extra hard toilet paper, but fortunately only a few rolls, so you are free to take some time from your ski holiday and go buy softer high quality ones yourself * From Chalet C it’s a whole trip to the sauna area, take the elevator to -1, then walk through the skiroom area (50m), then take again the elevator to +1, congrats you have arrived. The same way back though. Some other features for only apartment C12 * Kitchen accessories hardly luxurious * Dishwasher’s bottom rack was unfit, every time you open makes a decent jump, luckily no broken glasses or dishes * Toilet airvent w/o batteries * Air passages in the frame of the windows is an awesome feature for fresh air, if the filters weren’t horrendously dirty inside * Value for money

Very far from everything with zero services

The size of the apartments is good and the design is nice in the alpine style you expect

Where to start from! The check in is at 5pm!! And check out is at 10am.. unheard of. There is no cleaning included for the whole week that you stay there!! They offer it at 80€ per time if you wish!! You have to clean the dishes and throw the garbage even from the toilets when you leave or there is a fine! The garbage bins are away from the building not even a garbage chute to facilitate their unheard of policy!! Everything provided by the management is of the absolutely cheapest quality the toilet paper, that 1 set of 4 coffee capsules for espresso that they give at the beginning of the week was the refillable type that never works and makes burnt coffee, the tiny toiletry set in the bathroom was not branded either! Wouldn’t cost them more that 50€ per apartment to try to refine their supplies but they don’t seem to care. That would be 0.01% of the cost of the room for a week but still no! Above all the spa is very cold, the jacuzzis and pools are running with cold water at an uncomfortable temperature and the best they can do with the apartment heating due to some energy crisis concept imposed by the government is 19 oC.. you are a bit uncomfortable and have to stay dressed in the house at all times. Even some seriously smelly dog feces at the entrance of Chalet C stayed there for 3 days until we left, probably are still there, maybe they r waiting the dog owner to come back and collect them. Also the reception closes at 8pm!! In general I travel a lot and stayed in apartment hotels before but this is the worst thing they ever sold me as a luxury accommodation. The service is NON existent.. and late check outs is OUT of the question.. the cleaners who have maybe a 30’ job to do since u have already cleaned up everything, enter your apartment at 10:00am! The rest of the days they ‘respect your privacy’ and do not offer to clean.. French hospitality at its best!!

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff and facilities, I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is great, we really enjoyed our stay here and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very modern and are done to a high spec. One thing I would say is to check the location if you are skiing with young families as the skiing is quite advanced in Chamonix and you will need to travel approx 20/30 minutes to the family slopes. The location itself is wonderful for close proximity to the centre of Chamonix, only a 5 minute walk to the main streets. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only downside for us was having to travel to the family slopes, as I mentioned above the family slopes are approx 20/30 minutes away.

Excellent apartment!

The location just minutes from the town centre is very good, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and remembered my name when they saw me. The apartment was spotlessly clean , had good equipment, comfortable beds and I loved the swimming pool and spa area. I live in Chamonix and booked 3 nights as a treat for my Birthday but I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay and booked 3 extra nights! I would highly recommend Crystal de Jade apartments as they are high quality but feels like home. I had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with sofabed in the lounge and large outside terrace on the ground floor that sleeps up to 6 people.There is free underground parking also. There is also a beautiful dog ,Charlie , owned by the manager who is often at reception to greet you.

Nothing to dislike.

This fantastic chalet has various advantages… location, services, it is equipped with almost everything you may need for cooking, heavenly staff with continuous smile all day long … it has also an exceptional money value so far …

there is nothing I can complain about, it is a flawless place … and definitely I will come back again and again…
