Location and staff

We selected this hotel for its location, parking and pool. We found all three exceeded our expectations. The pool was sizeable and the pool attendant friendly. The staff at the poolside bar were helpful and the food was tasty. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning.
Upon arriving, we were greeted by an empty reception desk which wasn’t a good start. After almost ten minutes calling out hola and wandering around the reception area, the receptionist appeared with no apology which was a disappointing start to our stay.

We were there for the Spanish Grand Prix. Location was very good. Pool and bar area were good: snack food and environment; a pleasant 3-star service. Barman was an absolute delight. Breakfast was pretty good.
This is not a 4-star hotel. There weren’t even tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. Bathrooms were old; no extractor fan for the shower. We understand that the GP inflated the prices, but it really wasn’t worth what we paid.
