I chose the hotel because it was a 2-minute walk from San, Pancras station. The staff was excellent and the room was clean.
I actually left some items in the closet and they did their best to get them returned to me.
I arrived a few hours before normal check-in. For an additional $12 I was able to check in and get some rest after the flight in from the United States instead of sitting in the lobby and hoping to get a shower and a nap.
There's nothing that I didn't like about the hotel. The only drawbacks are that it is an older building with the normal associated challenges. The room is a little small and my room faced the street. When the window is opened to keep things cool, I learned the early morning schedule for the garbage pickup very quickly.
The location of the hotel definitely outweighed any deficiencies tied to the age of the building.
