Schönster Strandabschnitt, ruhiges Meer, sehr gut zum schwimmen und baden. Schönes Restaurant, abends mit Tischen direkt am Meer. Frühstück reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich in herrlichem grünem Ambiente. Restaurants und Geschäfte direkt in der Nähe. Zimmer mit schöner Außendusche.

Only AC in rooms is not good for breathing. A fan would be a nice add as well as mosquito nets in the windows to get fresh air at night.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mein Bungalow war für 2 Personen gross genug. Die Klimaanlage lief zuverlässig. Der Safe ist groß genug und hat mich zum schmunzeln gebracht. Es gab einen kleinen Kühlschrank, sowie kostenlos Tee/Kaffeebeutelchen. Wasser konnte man in einer Karaffe kostenlos vom Frühstücksraum holen. Im Zimmer standen 2 grosse Flaschen stilles Wasser, die man käuflich erwerben konnte. Die Bar am Strand hatte ein schönes Angebot an kleinen Snacks und Getränken. Preise waren okay.
Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt. Es wurden diverse Kosmetikartikel kostenlos gereicht. Das Bett war groß und für mich auch bequem. Die Anlage hat sehr viel grün und der Strand/Wasser ist sauber. Nachts war es immer am regnen, aber es war ein grosser Schirm vorhanden. Das Hotel bietet auch das Wäschewaschen an.
Die Gegend war ruhig und auf dem Weg zur Hauptstrasse befinden sich kleine Restaurants und ein Massage-Studio.
Bis zum Nachtmarkt in den Hauptort läuft man etwa 30 Minuten. Im Hotel mietete ich mir einen Roller für 150.000 Dong am Tag. So kann man die Insel gut erkunden.
Der Pool war sauber und machte einen guten Eindruck.
Da ich 5 Nächte dort war, war mein Transfer zum Flughafen kostenlos.
WLan funktionierte in alles Bereichen kostenlos und wunderbar.
Beim Frühstück ist ganz viel Luft nach oben. Alles war kalt. Man wird satt, aber für mich war das nichts. Tassen teilweise nicht aufgefüllt. Das sind aber alles persönliche Empfindungen.
Der Garten, wo die Liegen stehen, wirkt auf mich recht unaufgeräumt. Es lagen viele Palmenblätter/Holz rum.

The nice private beach area and the bungalows are quite nice
I’ve had high expectations after reading all the positive reviews here. The private beach is nice but it is not clean at all. Plastic pollution everywhere. Also a lot of straying dogs didn’t make the beach area a fun and safe place to hang out with kids or to hang out at all.
The bungalows are nice but a few more details would do the trick (a mirror next to the entrance door is not too much to ask from a 3star resort, a laundry rack would be nice for the wet swimsuits, just to name a few)
The staff is okay but definitely not incredible nice or super welcoming. A bit more real friendliness would be nice.

It’s in a really good location, near the centre of town with private beach and some restaurants. The room was large and nice, I got 2 conjoined rooms which was convenient. A lot of trees. Nice staffs.
There was no indoor shower and the hot water was not so good. Water pressure is really bad as well. For all the days we were there, not a day when I feel comfortable taking shower, especially on the colder day or some later night with all the mosquitoes and all. The breakfast was also quite limited. I did hope we could get more with the price.

The room was clean. They were there own little villas which was cute. The beach was right there which was awesome and the pool was an infinity pool.
There were mosquitoes inside and a mosquito net over the bed but I asked for spray and was told they did not have any. The hotel was not at capacity so I asked if I could stay until 2pm check out was at 12. I was told I oculd stay until 1 but anything after would be 600,000 VND

Good location, quirky bungalows with outside bathrooms.
Bar and restaurant closes at 9pm, last orders at 8.30. Shame because everyone heads out and there is no atmosphere - cannot really call itself a resort.

Paradise on the beach. Loved the location, pool, wonderful beach area, lovely bungalow and very nice breakfast.
The food at the restaurant was quite pricey and the coctails were a disappaointment compated to other hotels we stayed at. A happy hour would be nice. :)

Great beach location and lovely pool. The resort is tucked away off the main road and is therefore nice and quiet.
Good breakfast and we liked having access to filtered water to refill bottles.
The beach bar/ restaurant was expensive compared to facilities a couple of minutes walk from the resort. The resort doesn't offer an evening happy hour etc this may explain why very few residents use the beach bar/restaurant in the evenings. It's a shame as the location is lovely.

Localization of resort is really good, nice beach and swimming pool. Laying beds near on the beach are very good. Whole chilling area is very nice, clean and beautiful. Garden in resort is adorable. breakfasts were good. Everyday cleaning service was nice also.
Our bungalow was old and in need of modernization. For sure not that nice as in pictures. If it would cost half of price then fine but for that amount of money you expect something renovated and newer the 10 years bungalow without modernization. No even small bottle of water for free at the beginning of stay.

We didn't like that the staff insisted on keeping our passports at check in, this is technically illegal by the passport rules of our country. We weren't even told about this, the staff just never gave us our passports back at check in, when questioned they insisted on keeping them, we were very unhappy about this. The main concierge was very rude on leaving the property, not pleasant or nice. As the head of staff she really should no better. When we checked out, she acted as if she might not have our passports in the safe... Not cool. The staff never told us about the free extras such as free airport transport (we stayed 5 days). So probably wouldn't come back here.

Beachfront, pool area, communal areas were wonderful which we really enjoyed. Also close to some lovely restaurants. This could easily become a 4 star hotel with some changes mostly in the rooms.
The toilet seat and cover in our bathroom was unacceptable and disgusting completely stained and very old, just really made us wonder why they didn’t change it, it completely brought the standard down for us. Expect low water pressure. The AC kept switching off and they couldn’t fix the issue

Good location, close by the main street. Many good restaurants between the Hotel and main street.

Location, breakfast, friendly staff, clean and tidy beach, everything was just excellent. Access to pool 24h a day. Bungallows have its privacy, and plenty of greenery around. They are not directly on beach, just few have a sea view, but this did not matter at all. Would not hesitate to come back to this facility when coming to Phu Quoc again. Calm and relaxed place to stay with family, couple or just friends as was my case.

A very beautiful resort, in a prime location. I liked the pool with a view of the sea and the tropical garden with the accommodation behind it straight away. The breakfast was fully satisfactory. Unfortunately, the pool was closed until the afternoon on my only full day because there were problems with the pump. It's not the management's fault, but I would have been annoyed if it hadn't been fixed. The pool, beach and garden are the highlight of the resort. The cottages themselves show their age. In my opinion, one or the other renovation would be in order. For example, the wall in my cabin was obviously decorated by children's hands. Or the sliding door to the bathroom made such a noise that I was afraid of waking the neighbours.
Compared to the resort I had at Ong Lang Beach at less than a third of the price, there is a lot of catching up to do. The location makes the price difference, of course. On the other hand, you can get a room with breakfast in one of the 5-star resorts for the same price. Oh, I see, but then they are outside again. So, almost full marks for Thanh Kien.
