the room size and facilities were good with nice touches, i.e. home made cookies. Bed was comfortable .
this room was at the front of the pub on the first floor. If the weather is good and you are a person who likes to go to bed early, this room may not be the one for you as other guests talking and drinking outside can be easily heard in the room.

We have just had a 3 night stay here and cannot recommend this place highly enough. The setting is idyllic, the rooms were well maintained and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the Sunday roast was amazing and they catered for my gluten free needs without any problems, they were very knowledgeable. The best thing about our stay though was the staff. Hamish and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us - they even stored a wedding cake for us overnight which was a massive help. They went above and beyond with their service, they are such a great team and it was a pleasure to have met such a great bunch of people. Thank you so much 😊

Excellent, helpful friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Different areas inside and out for dining and relaxing. Has a car park,see photo.
Accommodation accessed from outside the pub to the rear, which may be less pleasant in winter?
