We had a wonderful stay at MIMARU Tokyo Shinjuku West. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well designed for our family, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to transport, restaurants and convenience stores, making it a great base for exploring Tokyo.
We also really enjoyed the breakfast — it was fresh, convenient and a great way to start the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
There honestly wasn't much we didn't like about our stay.

The location was good, only a short walk to the Shinjuku train station. The location suited our needs well but I wouldn't say that is was right in the heart of things - still a little hike to the train which was ok for us. The staff was great and they were super helpful with luggage transfer. It was clean and the room configuration fit us well, though it was a little smaller than I was expecting from the pictures - but I guess that is just Tokyo.
My biggest complaint was that the beds were hard as a rock. We all had difficulty sleeping during our stay. Also the phone in the room to contact the front desk did not work properly and we had some small issues with the air conditioner at times which was a bit frustrating in Tokyo in the summer.
