It was a quiet location, we didn’t have breakfast but had an evening meal on our second evening. The food was tasty and plentiful. Good value for money too
The shower head too heavy and kept bending down towards the wall not into the cubicle. I didn’t complain about it so couldn’t expect the owners to rectify it.

Easy parking. Lovely building. Really nice evening meal. Cosy bar. Spotless room. Very quiet room. Nice refreshments. Modern TV.
Extremely rude host at breakfast. Treated like I was an imposter. 'Told off' for arriving too early for breakfast (7:10am) despite being asked what time I wanted breakfast upon arrival the night before. Was instructed to move tables (there was just three of us in a vast room). Grumpy, unpleasant, no manners, treated badly, felt entitled to treat a customer like an irritation. Got the feeling he was not used to being held to account for appalling manners. This is why people opt for faceless chains that nonetheless iron out this kind of nonsense. But food, rooms and cleanliness was 100/100. Such a shame.
