Generally clean, a couple of spider webs hanging from the ceiling but a quick wipe with towel and that’s fine. Room, bathroom and bedding was all clean. Everyday they made my bed (didn’t expect that) , emptied bin etc.
Room was smaller than I envisioned , and if I paid the same rate normally for the room I would have been disappointment , however it was marathon weekend and even 4 nights in a premier inn was over £1k so proportionally this was fair value .
I think the BnB has a lot of bad reviews that nearly made me cancel, but I’m glad I stuck with it.
For the money, location, quietness and general tidiness of the property was fair. The only thing I might suggest is a shelf with a toaster . But I can’t grumble !

Basic accommodation with cafes, co-op and petrol station nearby to pick up the basics. Lots of buses for ride into Edinburgh Central and airport. Bed was comfortable and shower was decent. Was a cleaner every day. Was located in safe and quiet neighbourhood.
Kettle needs descaling so was put off using it. Room is a bit cold and I can tell will be colder in winter. Heating is centrally controlled. The place is a little run down but not too much.
