Situated in Nantucket, this charming house for $1,250 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. New resort style pool area. Fantastic for large groups or multiple families who want to walk or bike to town. Beautiful pastoral setting with magnificent sunsets. Large front rear and side yards at the end of a quiet dead end street - perfect for children. Bedrooms and living areas are spread out allowing privacy for large groups. There is a large open recreation/game with ping pong, fooseball, big screen TV, etc.. with 6 bed bunk room above in a separate wing of the house.

Fantastic house layout for large groups, amazing pool and yard, great location (walk or bike into town, steps beach, something natural, etc). Only thing would be that the bathrooms were outdated, but aside from that it was awesome. David was great to communicate with and an excellent host.

Great house, just as advertised. Plenty of space for our group of adults. Exterior was stunning! The lot is huge and well manicured, and it backs up to a meadow. We saw deer and rabbits every day. Pool is a highlight, of course. Plenty of outdoor furniture. Loved the outdoor shower and game room. Location was great for us, as we had a car, although it is walkable to town for coffee/exercise/etc. We had one minor plumbing issue that David took care of right away. Excellent stay. We will be back!

Overall this property is well located, has a beautiful pool and is very private.
The house has been nicely updated but it did seem a bit not ready for prime time; the window treatments were missing or broken on many windows, there were some exposed wires outside , and could use some bathroom updating;
We were given a long list of rules but when we tried to reach the manager over a broken coffee pot and a missing pool pump, and adjusting the pool temperature it was unsuccessful.

Great location, great yard, great pool, plenty of bedrooms, needs some maintenance, listing said four bathrooms, but it’s 3 bathroom which was very tight and an outdoor shower (which was lovely). Bathrooms not well maintained. Sinks not draining. Window coverings not functional. Sunsets amazing at property. Great having bikes.

Overall well equippedj home. Kithchen fully furnished and enough plates, etc for a large crown. The dishwasher was a bit tricky to get going.
The 6 need kids room was large airy and delightful.
The pool was in great shape, so much lawn, beach, bike stuff in the basement. We did not use the outdoor fireplace.
The interior bathrooms are serviceable, but not luxurious in any sense. The outdoor shower came in handy.
If anyone finds a wooden rook rolling around, its ours!
Very comfy and plentiful sitting and dining furniture.
Two baby duty washers and two baby duty dryers which were on noon stop to keep towels etc going. Plenty of white towels stocked. A great time was had!

My husband and I got married on Nantucket. We stayed in David's house with our wedding party. It was the perfect home base for all of us! The pool was excellent and the backyard is absolutely stunning. My husband and I did our first look in the backyard and the pictures were gorgeous. Would definitely come back. Thanks David!

The property was the perfect place for our long weekend getaway. The house fit 16 of us very comfortably. There was ample amount of space for our large group to rest and entertain. The pool and fire pit were great additions as well. The house is an easy 15-20 minute walk to town for shopping and dining. David was a very accommodating and responsive host. Would highly recommend to those traveling to Nantucket with a large group.

This property was perfect for our bachelor party - plenty of beds for everyone and the pool/outdoor space was excellent for entertaining.
Even with a large group there was sufficient seating for everyone to enjoy a group meal both indoors and out.
The house location was within walking distance from downtown which was an added bonus.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place near downtown but spacious enough to host large family/group of friends!

Our two families of four with teenagers rented this house for a weeklong trip to Nantucket. We had plenty of room, loved the view from the back deck, enjoyed the pool and the location was ideal—we loved being able to walk into town. A great house!

FIRST LET ME SAY THE NUMBER OF BRS, DINING AREA LR AND KITCHEN WERE PERFECT FOR US. HOWEVER I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY UNTIL: 1)THE BROKEN VENETIAN BLINDS ARE REPLACED (VIRTUALLY ALL). 2)WINDOW TREATMENTS (DRAPES) ARE REPLACED. 3)SLOW SINK DRAINS ARE CLEARED. 4)LEAKING SHOWER HEAD IN HALL BATH REPAIRED.THE RENT PER WEEK IS AN INSULT WITH ALL THAT SHOULD BE FIXED.

We stayed at this lovely and spacious home for a girls weekend on Nantucket. The house is equipped with everything we needed (toaster, coffee makers, microwave, dishwasher). The house was clean, the beds comfortable and it was great to have 2 washer/dryer units. The pool area is a dream. The distance to the center of town was an easy walk. We couldn’t have had a better weekend! Also, the property manager was responsive to all of my inquires prior to arriving and provided me with all info needed, therefore no need to contact him during our stay.

The house was amazing. We had 9 adults and two infants and felt like we could have easily accommodated more. Really not a bad walk from town (even with our bags), but only $10 taxi if a problem. Check in at 4 pm and check out at 10 am is a bit rough, but overall I enjoyed our experience.

House was just as pictured. Beds and bedding were comfy, pool was delightful- warm enough to enjoy on a chilly day. The location was great - close enough to town but a huge property in a very quiet setting. Kitchen was well stocked - plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. We enjoyed the gas fire pit and the 4 bikes.

Pros: Location was perfect for us. 8 minute bike ride to town and less than 15 min walk. We love to thrift at the hospital thrift store and this was about a 10 min walk. We stayed on the opposite side near york st last time and David’s property seemed closer. It is also close to jetties beach and we rode bikes there in less than 10 min. It is about a 25 min walk.
The property itself fit our group of 14-16 depending on the day with NO problem. We each had a super comfortable bed and ultra soft sheets. This was sooo nice. Others rentals we have had the beds were very uncomfortable.
The pool was ridiculous and we spent a lot of family time there. Very beautiful and warm. Lots of floats. There is an electric cover that you need to retract if not sitting around the pool. This must be for safety as it is not fenced in. There was also a pump to put on top for pooling water but it was so warm we didn’t need it. To be quite honest I really don’t know how that worked. I would have to call David if this is needed. I didn’t see an “on” switch.
Ping pong table was lots of fun in a separate area down at pool level.
2 huge washer and dryers and free detergent. Wow!
David answered all my questions within a 24 hour period.
Cons: these are not even that bad but wanted to mention. The previous renters left the recyclables a bit disorganized. Nantucket is strict and we fixed it. David mentioned his cleaners would do it but I didn’t want to leave it. The cleaners were super nice and we met them on our arrival. They had just finished up. The yard did have some bottle caps old marshmallow sticks, a freeze pop wrapper on the ground. A quick run through of yard would fix that. I went through all the items in the home I noticed that needed fixing. A shade, a few screen holes, a spot on the countertop. David was fine with it. I just didn’t want to get blamed for damage.
Compared to previous rental I found this property beautiful but generic. It lacks the charm that some of the properties have on Nantucket. It felt more like a rental which is probably unavoidable with such a large group. Again, not really a negative but want to be honest.
Also, one toilet paper per bathroom and one paper towel to start you off. Take this into consideration and bring supplies
Feel very lucky to have been able to vacation here and would return to David’s property!

WOW! If your family's going to Nantucket, STAY HERE!
This home is perfect for a family vacation in gorgeous Nantucket. It has everything one could possibly need, super comfy beds, a large, stunning pool complete with the nicest outdoor fireplace I've ever seen, as well as a grill and large washers and dryers.
It's just a short--and pretty--walk to downtown and there's enough parking for three cars for those visits to the parts of Nantucket you might want to drive to. In our case, that was just the grocery store and the airport. Everywhere else we went we biked or walked--the location of this home really couldn't be better.
The owner's communication was flawless--he answered any questions we had immediately and just couldn't have been nicer.
Over the course of the week, we had 19 people (not all at once although we did comfortably sleep 15 a couple of nights) stay here. Every single one of us couldn't get over how perfect it was.
If you're looking for a family vacation rental in Nantucket, this one would be hard to beat!

A perfect spot for gathering!
I stayed here during a business trip to the island, but opened it up to my friends & their families to enjoy the space while I worked. I can't say enough wonderful things about the property, layout inside (especially for families with kids), location, & seclusion. You're less than a mile from downtown, but feel like you're miles from it with the way the yard is set up. Everybody had an amazing time, and we've been talking about making it an annual trip! The kids kept saying that this was their favorite vacation ever, so kudos for being able to top Disney World haha!
David the host was VERY fast with communication and accommodated some last-minute requests upon our arrival with no hesitation.
10/10 would recommend for your next family gathering-- thank you David!
