Situated in Manasota Key, this charming house for $333 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This large two-bedroom, two-bath duplex located on Manasota key is waiting for you! The serenity of Englewood makes this a special place to enjoy your vacation. This unit faces the west allowing for killer sunsets for you, your family and friends to take in. The second level open floor plan faces west allowing for bright days and beautiful nights, with new granite counters and appliances in the kitchen. We stayed at 1255 Shore View Drive in Manasota Key for 7 days. The duplex house had been updated and was in the perfect location. We could see the beautiful gulf and sunsets from the kitchen, family room and master bedroom. The house was comfortable and clean. Beach access was across the street and there were so many shells it was unbelievable. Many restaurants and bars were within walking distance so we rarely used our car. We would definitely return here!

The property team included everything we needed for fun, relaxation, and rest. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed when we chose to cook and eat at the property. The property was very roomy and very comfortable. It is a highly recommend place to rent and stay.

Great property (side by side) across the street from the beach. Can see gulf/sunsets from the balconies (3). Restaurants about 3/4 of a mile down the road. Dog friendly neighborhood. Upstairs main bedroom and bath are roomy. New appliances and furniture. Only negatives are the long stairway to property and private beaches across from property.

23 steps up, lugging your suitcase & not even to the mater bedroom! Elevator did not work & we could get no one to help us! Ruined the vacation for the two older, disabled people in our group. Very difficult to reach a “live” person at Red Awning rental company & the homeowner did not have anyone come look at elevator. Communication was almost impossible. Will not rent from Red Awning again.

Property was clean and seemed newly refurbished. Beds very comfortable. Easy to get to the beach but please note that the beach directly in front of the condo is privately owned and you will need to go elsewhere to find a public beach. Therefore if you are bringing a lot of stuff to set up on the beach, you'll want to drive a short distance to the very nearby state park. That park is currently closed (December 2022) due to hurricane Ian damage but very likely to be reopen by 2023 summer beach season - recommend you verify this before reserving.

This rental has a great location. It’s a block to the beach, a short walk to Stump Pass State Park and nature trails and less than ten minutes walk to five good restaurants/bars with outdoor seating and music. The rental was very comfortable. The only thing we’d change is the couch, not great for lounging but overall a five star visit. We’ll be back!

This rental has a great location. The location and condo was great. My only complaint is the pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels were horrible and very uncomfortable. The TV also didn’t work.

The beach is a short walk away, but there is NOT private beach access. There is a public path between two properties a few houses down the road.
Previous reviewers mentioned the lack of toilet paper. We did have toilet paper and one roll of paper towels, but no laundry soap and no bags for the kitchen garbage. We bought those and left them, so the next guest had them. Should you stay here, be prepared to pick up some such essential.
We greatly appreciated the beach umbrella, beach chairs, and cooler on wheels. These all worked great. There were several other chairs we did not use but seemed to be great shape. The beach toys were junk. There were three bikes. We didn't use them, but they seemed ok, if a little rough. There were many beach towels in the unit.
The towels and bedding were comfortable, as were the beds. The kitchen had everything we needed (we cooked all our meals there) as far as pots and utensils, etc.
When I attempted to communicate with the lister after booking our stay, the respondent seemed to be some person unfamiliar with the unit itself -- they answered as if they simply read the listing and told me what it said, along with boiler plate language. A few days before our stay, we received an email with additional information on the unit as well as contact information for the local manager. So, if you have questions, they'll have to wait until a few days before your stay.
The unit was clean and well-ordered, but the building is a little more long in the tooth than the pictures communicate.
All things considered, we were pleased with the unit and would stay here again if ever we were to return to Manasota Key.

Found out it was for emergencies only. Had trouble with internet. Had to call manager to get access to thermostat..was set on ac and temp went down in the 50's during the night. No view of the water except slight view from bedroom balcony..nice area to walk the dogs. Will probably come back

Agree with comments around stocking of init. Kitchen furnishings are sparce. Had to buy a wine opener and cutting board. Also soap supplies are rationed, no blow dryers,such silly and inexpensive things to be skimpy on at $300/night. Would give a 5 star rating if those things were fixed.

Excellent Vacation!!!
The property is in great location just steps from the beach. It is spacious, beautiful and very clean. The owner is extremely nice; he help us with all our inquiries.
In general, we had a great experience and spent a fabulous vacation time.
