Nice home . Spacious and great location. Layout is nice to spread out and granny unit very helpful. The house is somewhat dated. The master bed is not the most comfortable and dishwasher was noisy. Overall great time.

The turf in the front had cigar and cigarette butts on it which we picked up before sitting out there. And the back patio we didn't use because it was not clean either. The house worked great for 8 of us.

Good kitchen and dining space with plenty of room and seating. Location is perfect with off street parking. Close to everything. The pictures need to be updated because the new living room furniture is much better than pictured. Internet was not working when we got there so called to troubleshoot and still could not fix it. Found out later from the tech that it was old equipment and all had to be replaced. We had people working remotely but couldn’t get it fixed for 2 days. Service guy did come at 8:00AM on Sat morning and took care of it. Only other big issue was the master bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was hard and sagged in the middle so with 2 people you were constantly rolling into each other (just saw another review noting the same issue with the master bedroom mattress). Also the bed frame creaks loudly every time you move. Had to go to Walmart and buy a mattress topper and pad to help soften it a bit and make it sleep-able for the remainder of the trip. Also there were some light bulbs out, not sure how housekeepers miss them. Overall it worked and being able to walk everywhere was a huge plus.

The home was in a great location to walk to the beach and shops. It was easy check in and out. The granny suite in the back yard had a strong Oder of bleach with mildew smell, spiders and the shower in it was full of spiderwebs. We couldn’t get the WI-FI to work. the kitchen was a great size for our group of 8 adults. House was clean. We all slept good. Would recommend this home for the location. We called about the wi-fi and had quick response.

For starters, the location is absolutely amazing. Not only is it 2 1/2 blocks from the beach/pier it’s a stones throw away from all the great restaurants and shops. We did not have a problem with any noise at night. The house itself is huge, three good sized bedrooms in the main house, then the in-law unit outback was perfect for our kids. The shower in the Master bedroom was amazing, dual showerheads on each side of you was exactly what I needed after a long day of living Beach life. We will for sure be back.

You can’t ask for a better location than this! The pier is 2 short blocks away and you are right in the middle of downtown! Awesome bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The house is comfortable, quiet, and spacious.

We really enjoyed this house. Great location and plenty of room for the entire family. We had a small issue and the management company was very responsive. I own a vacation rental and know it is hard to keep up on everything if tenants don’t let you know of any issues. I was very impressed with how quickly my issue was resolved.

We enjoyed the main house although it does not look like the picture. Half the grass is gone and the other half is brown. The main house was clean and just two short blocks to the beach and pier. Very centrally located. It was fairly quiet for being on a main street (except the teens who hung out in the parking lot behind the house for most of the night). There is a separate converted garage in the back that had the fourth bedroom and second bathroom. It was was very dated and dirty. We discovered the first night that it had mold. The one couple from that structure moved into the living room of the main house and slept on the floor. We called Vacation rentals on Saturday morning and the said they could not help us until Monday. The couple who slept on the floor left and went home. I went to the office on Monday morning when I didn't hear from them and talked with the owner and she said they were very busy as it was the summer season. I was also told they had no place to put us and would send a maintenance man out by 3:30 to check it out but he did not arrive until 6:30 and yes he said it was mold. The next day we were scheduled to leave and I wanted to talk with the owner about some type of refund. She said the best they could do was to give back one night's rental out of the five. I had expected faster response and had hoped for a larger monetary adjustment.

Great place to stay - close to everything which made the teenagers happy! House is bigger and brighter than the pictures portray - very well maintained and the kitchen was very well stocked for feeding our hungry brood. Noise level on the busy street was no bother once inside. My only complaint was the furniture and rug in the living room - dingy and dirty looking and, well, just plain old and in need of replacement - a sleeper couch would fit nicely in there. Oh and previous tenant or whoever totally overfilled the trash can and we were there on a Sunday and trash day wasn't until Thursday - when I brought this up to the management company their reply was, "sorry, nothing we can do about that" - okay, so our problem - we had to ask a neighbor for the use of their garbage can, which was full, but she was kind enough to point me to the Chamber of Commerce's can in the parking lot next door to her, thank goodness, with 4 teenage boys the garbage builds up fast! Other than that, all else was better than I expected??.

overall pleasant, but pricey, considering musty odor and dirt build up in vents, a few cobwebs on the kitchen ceiling and extra blankets did not appear to be clean. Didn't really check lights right off and had to change kitchen light bulb (there was mention of an after hours charge that if someone needed to be called) I don't think the property was completely checked out or burned out bulbs and stuck toilet handles may have been taken care of before our arrival

We used the space to house four families who were attending a wedding in Arroyo Grande. It provided us the opportunity to bring multiple people together, the space in the front yard was amazing to relax and the location in comparison to the beach was perfect. Appreciated the back access to the room in the garage, the covered backyard, and the room in the back. We have decided that this is our vacation home for Pismo, hopefully it is always available when we need it.

Only drawback was wifi didn't work. Password was made available but none of us could get it to work. One shower head in the master bath only had cold water, not fun. Location is outstanding. Could use another chair in living room, for a place that sleeps 8 only seats for three in living room seems odd.

This is a wonderful house for a great beach vacation getaway. We comfortably fit 6 adults and four small children in this house/ back house. It is only one block from the beach and downtown. We are already planning on staying at this house again next year. The house was clean but the rugs and carpets could definitely use a cleaning.

Location was fantastic, and the fact that the home and decor is outdated was to be expected based on the listing photos. What wasn't expected was the presence of a rodent. We found droppings under the bed in the room with two twins, and actually saw a mouse (or rat?) scurrying on the floor in the back unit. Other than that experience, we found the experience pleasant.

The property was close to all downtown activities. We never had to use our car. We had family members coming and going for the whole month we were there and everyone enjoyed their time and the accessibility of the property. It was nice to be able to fit 4 vehicles (when needed) in the driveway because of limited parking on the street. We found the carpets (especially the large ones) to be in 'great' need of cleaning or replacement. I even washed all the smaller rugs myself. The master shower was moldy and leaking water onto the floor when showering. Tub shower in the other bath was very slow to drain. That being said, we are planning on going again next year.

Nice bungalow with a guest house in the back. No view of the ocean but just two blocks away. Fun to watch the people walk by and be close enough to walk to everything. Big kitchen and dining area made the house feel bigger than it is.

Absolutely great house and experience. Large living area - living room and kitchen/dining area. Great little patio in the back for meals and games. Inside very well furnished. Close enough to the beach. Nice to have driveway parking that can accommodate 4 vehicles. Only issue that we had was that the refrigerator wasn't working well when we got there. These things happen - the upside was that Coastal (and the owners) jumped on it quickly, tried once to fix it, and when that didn't work, they immediately had a new one brought in. Moral of the story is that these are also great people to rent from. Potential renters should know that the tradeoff for a great house and location is that the traffic noise can be bothersome for some people. didn't bother us and the house is air-conditioned in case you are bothered. All and all a great base for a wonderful vacation experience.

I would definitely give my experience with Coastal Vacation Rentals and the property a 5 Star rating based on a 1-5 point system. From my first phone call, as a novice, I had a ton of questions and they were cheerfully. The property was amazing. So clean and it appears to have been updated recently. Stocked with all basic necessities, as well. TV in all bedrooms as well as living room. Nice furniture, not beat up, or cast off furniture but comfortable couch & recliner in living room. There were only 2 things that come to mind that I wasn't happy with were: No water pressure in the back cottage and the fridge didn't cool down very well. Absolutely a perfect location for walking to the beach, sightseeing by foot and for dining. I loved everything about our trip and definitely, when we return, I would do it all the same and stay at the Dolliver home. A big Thank You to Coastal.

The place accommodated 2 close families perfectly (8 people) with one of the couch. I was a little leery of booking the place because the website lacked more pictures. But, glad I took the chance. It is located two blocks from the beach and everything in town. No need to drive and plenty of parking. We did have two minor problems but called the property management and they took care of it immediately.
