Great property, Wonderful location, Misleading descriptions though

I liked the decor and the whole vibe of the property.

On the booking.com site it says the property has microwave. But the reality was, it didn't have microwave. We contacted the front desk and they were blaming booking.com. Afterwards, we contacted booking.com, and it said it was the property's issue...

Lovely

Breakfast of stuffed French toast was awesome!

My bed was a bit uncomfortable. The mattress on the bed closest to the window sank on both sides and was raised in the middle. Room 503 I think it was.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!.. Staff could not have been better.. little restaurant and bar were delightful .. very clean and bed very comfortable.. room was very adequate.. WILL RETURN!

In providing feedback on my recent stay, I must express my profound disappointment with the quality of the sleeping accommodations. The mattress provided was excessively firm, lacking the necessary support and comfort expected of a reputable establishment. Furthermore, the pillows were notably shallow and discomforting, failing to offer the requisite cushioning for a restful night's sleep. Regrettably, these substandard furnishings resulted in a distressing experience, as evidenced by the development of a debilitating neck discomfort that rendered me immobile upon awakening. Such circumstances not only compromised my comfort but also instilled a sense of apprehension regarding the prospect of further rest. I trust that this matter will be addressed with the utmost urgency to ensure the provision of adequate and conducive sleeping amenities for future patrons and myself. Besides that, everything else is lovely.

Is Your Car Really Being Watched by Hotel Valet or Outside Parked Unattended?

I like that the guest relations used texting to my phone to ask how my stay was. I like that it was clean.

I didn't like the smell and aroma next to some of their valet staff because it was a hint of alcohol or weed. I didn't like that I came their initially to use their valet services for private parking. Yet, my last night, I was there. The valet took my keys and never parked my car in a private garage and left my car down the street where I parked it because there was no room in front of the hotel to leave it. He gave me his word that he was going to repark it for me. As I was checking out the hotel. The morning shift valet attendant did not know where my car was because it wasn't in the garage where it should have been nor were there any notes in the report. So, I am never going to stay at this location again because where the area is, you need someone looking over your car.

Great stay if you're looking for a chic hotel room in Philly.

Loved the design of the hotel, and how friendly the staff was. Our room was amazing and the beds were clean and comfortable.

There was quite a bit of cold air coming in through the windows, so we couldn't get the room to a comfortable temperature. I also hung the 8$ breakfast selection on my door, but no one picked it up so it didn't come the next morning.

I will definitely stay here again. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had!!

I honestly loved everything about this property. The location was amazing! The facilities were beautiful and clean.

Price. Would have been great to pay less but I would stay there again!

The behavior of the reception employee on our arrival, the bathroom was not clean, full of toilet paper and although we were compensated with free breakfast it was poor variety and quality. The air conditioning really noisy if on to sleep at night.

Exceptional customer service from Valet parking, main desk, and restaurant. It may be the best I've experienced in years.

Nothing, valet cost 62.00/day which is expected. Car available within 5 minutes of calling.

A gem tucked into Philly.

It was wonderful! The location was perfect. We came as Phillies fans, but wanted to also do some shopping and sightseeing with our daughter. 15 minute ride to the stadiums, a 5 minute walk to Reading Terminal Market (if you love AMAZING food). The staff was incredible - super friendly and helpful. We arrived early, and our room wasn’t ready yet. They stowed our luggage, and texted when our room was ready. Will absolutely be a repeat customer.

Awesome!

This hotel is beyond my expectation. I went to Philadelphia several times. Usually stay in downtown. This was the best experience. The room designed good . Ceiling is high , maybe around 12ft. Very clean . Even the bathroom close to gym. Another amazing thing is the breakfast. So good and healthy . I'm not a fan of buffet breakfast. In Canopy , you can see how healthy from the breakfast menu. Will definitely recommend to my friends and will definitely go there again. Thank you !

Facilities were good. One creepy person ruined the whole experience

The person brought a pack and play and was saying very creepy things about wanting to take my daughter. Felt uncomfortable afterwards during my stay. And checked out as soon as possible

Excellent hotel! Great location within walking distance to most everything (Bear in mind, I think walking 2 miles is nothing). Very friendly staff who were very accommodating. Bar was also very nice to relax in. Rooms were vey clean and well appointed. Donut shop was very nice too!

I disliked nothing. I was really entertained by the hipster collection at the bar. I have never seen so many city folks trying to look like buff loggers.

the air conditioning squealed quite a bit, we notified the staff but it was never resolved during our stay. the water machine by the elevator also worked for only about 20% of our stay

The location is great and very stylish hotel

The stuff wasn’t so nice, they were not happy to help, even when there was a problem and there was no hot water in the shower (several times) they told us at the reception that we probably don't know how to use it right and then they moved us rooms... In addition, I booked a room with a view and they told me that they don't have a view because the building is 120 years old and not as tall as the surroundings, so why charge extra for a room with a view if there is no view?

Interesting stay!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The communal areas were nice, bright, modern and clean.

Our rooms were not cleaned daily, nor did we get fresh towels, which is not what we would expect from a hotel like this. The bedrooms were also extremely dark and dingy, with a number of lights not even working. The air conditioning was unnecessarily loud and inconsistent. We also had a strange encounter whereby an IT guy knocked on one of our doors, unannounced, and demanded to enter the room to 'check a device' which turned out to be a device that monitors housekeeping - very odd(!!) and we then wondered whether this meant that conversations were being listened to etc.
