Quiet and peaceful

I had a great stay here! The location was perfect to explore Buchart Gardens and the Butterfly Center. Personally, I love the semi rural location and the quiet privacy. My suite was very comfortable and clean. I also enjoyed the common outdoor sitting area.

Wonderful visit to see the west coast of Canada from NL

Comfortable, cozy accommodations in a quiet location with easy access to the bustle of Victoria. Butchart Gardens and the Butterfly Gardens located just minutes down the road.

Peaceful country setting

A wonderful and relaxing property, ideally located in a quiet, country setting. The surroundings are picturesque and peaceful, and the location was perfect for our needs. The room was comfortable and well laid out.

A lovely little rural retreat

The property is in a quiet rural setting but is an easy 20 min drive into Victoria. The owners have put a lot of thought into their suites - there are plenty of wall sockets (and I mean plenty! They are all over the place and in useful places too.) I especially liked the nightlight in the bathroom - very thoughtful. And there is a kettle! For those English visitors who need a proper cup of tea. The room is tastefully decorated and it and the bathroom were super clean. Crockery and cutlery are provided and there was milk and yoghurt in the fridge. Well deserving of their high rating.

The mattress was too soft for us - but that can be personal preference. I also didn’t like the sheets - they tend to pill and are uncomfortable.

A. cute spot but will need transportation to visit attractions.

Was no breakfast,although there was coffee and yogurt to be had.If we had a car rental if would have been a easier choice for next time.

No air conditioning was a concern,especially on the hottest days.

The outdoor pace was lovely. Thoughtful privacy screens and propane fire bowl. Rooms were comfortable and bathroom well equipped. Proximity to Butchart Gardens was great!

Would have liked a small microwave safe casserole bowl to use for microwave cooking. Kitchenette was acceptable for a couple of nights but would book something with proper cooking facilities for any longer.

The suite was great to stay for someone like quite and nature.

It was very quiet and surrounding by nature. It made us calm and relaxed. We saw rabbits and an owl.The suite was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. And also it was dog friendly.

We stayed in the loft. Beautiful place tucked in a quiet neighborhood , close to the love butchart garden. Highly recommend this property if you like a quiet peaceful get away.

Would be nice to have extra towels and bedsheets. Need a car to drive to places. Everything else was fantastic.

A reasonable price for Victoria

Location & Privacy

The heat was turned off and the unit was cold when I arrived. The soap dispenser in the shower was not function. The toilet paper holder broke when I changed the paper.

Great peaceful loft, great getaway highly recommended.

Wonderful loft, very peaceful.

The only thing we didn't' like was the carpet had a couple stains, but the loft is great and we loved staying there.

Lovely guest cottage, excellent value, would stay again.

Great location for my needs, nice and quiet. Easy arrival, door code sent on time, some milk and food left in the kitchen. Lovely outdoor area. Possible to walk into Brentwood Bay in 20 mins for groceries and restaurants, and walk to Victoria Gardens Butterfly House in 10 mins, but road is a little busy.

Bed a bit soft for my taste and not a fan of the gray sheets.

Convenient but Booking.com didn’t list that air-conditioning did not exist.

comfortable, clean and walking distance to The Butchart Gardens. Convenient bus service to Victoria.

Super Fantastic

Just like Home, quiet, comfortable & relaxing. We liked having amble easy parking, our own entrance and close contact info if we required anything.

my partner does not eat yoghurt so a couple of pieces of bread would have been great as a toaster is provided.

Clean, comfortable and great location!

Great location for us as we attended a friend’s wedding nearby. Nice private space with a nice yard in the back for our eldest son to play. Comfortable and clean, we will definitely return! Host was easy to communicate with and all went well!

This was a nice retreat from 30 days in Victoria just prior. I relaxed and took in the scenery.

Loved the treats left for me as well as the real cream for my coffee. There were no coffee pods in the room so I googled how to use the French Press. I now have a new favorite way of making coffee. The location was second-to-none. Scenery was awesome. I would return in a heartbeat.

Towels are looking quite worn but hey - the bed linen was clean and the bed - super comfy.
