Built in 1861, this charming row home is located on a quiet street in the Historic District. This spacious one bedroom getaway is perfect for a couple looking to explore the rich history of Savannah, or a traveling single. Enter your property via electronic lock, and forget the hassle of carrying keys! Stepping inside you'll be pleasantly surprised by the tall ceilings and the amount of natural light. The living room offers a plush grey sofa, arm chair and flat screen television, perfect for those who have their own Netflix or Hulu accounts! A dedicated dining space to enjoy home-cooked meals can be found just adjacent to the living room. Walking down the hall, guests will find the spacious and open kitchen that offers granite countertops, plenty of prep space and a full size washer/dryer thats tucked away. At the back of the home just outside of the bedroom, a roomy bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combination. The bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed, hotel grade linens and a television with access to stream your favorite apps. The private patio is just off of the bedroom, and is a private oasis perfect for a morning cup of joe. This landmark home built for Noble Hardee in 1861 is perfectly situated to explore Savannah’s historic district. This fully renovated cottage has everything you’ll need to enjoy your getaway. The Honey Bee Cottage is in an excellent location-a short walk to Troup Square, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and historic Jones Street, voted one of the prettiest streets in the United States! A short drive or walk puts you on either Broughton Street or River Street where shopping and dining abound-it truly is the ideal location from which to explore Savannah. What is parking like for this home? This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Sleeping Configuration: 1 King Size Bed We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 50 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information. After initial frustrations with the door key code being incorrect--quickly corrected by a phone call--and finding a poorly stocked kitchen, I discovered the dishwasher had all we were missing. Hosts were responsive to a dearth of towels and no dish towels, but still only provided one dish towel. I have never rented an apt where I had to empty the dishwasher myself but maybe others have. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was fine for the minimal cooking we did. The bath was fine, although I would suggest they add some safety bars. The tub was quite high getting out especially, and there was nothing to hold onto. Lounge and dining area were fine and quite pleasant. One night the heat came on and was a bit noisy. The ceiling fan was not on, so we switched it on to run clockwise (for winter), and that fixed the problem. There were no decent maps, so we left as many as we could find for the next guests. It would have been helpful to know that a free shuttle stop was two blocks away, so we left the DOT map as well along with pamphlets from some of the sites we enjoyed. We would happily stay here again and recommend Lucky Savannah's properties.

This apartment was in a great location. Easy to check in and out. We couldn't find our booking information on the drive up and staff were very helpful and responsive. Comfortable king bed and living room. Inside was clean and had all the amenities listed. My only comment is that the back porch was covered in wet leaves and fallen tree branches and was unusable until we cleared everything off. Feel that if a property lists itself as providing a porch, then the porch and its area should be swept and prepared for guests just as the inside is.

While overall the property was good the bed was very uneven and uncomfortable which made it not as much fun to come back too after a ling day walking around town.

We stayed in this house about 5 years ago. We decided to stay again on our honeymoon since we liked the house and location so much. Then the bed had a new super comfortable memory foam mattress. I believe 5 years later it’s the same mattress. As you can imagine it was not nearly as comfortable. This great house needs a new bed.

I had a four-day trip to Savannah in early May. We stayed in Rose Cottage, and it was perfect for our needs. The cottage is well maintained and nicely decorated. We especially liked the kitchen, even though all we use was the fridge and the coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. The cottage has a great layout and would definitely recommend it.

We have never been to Savannah so I wasn't sure how good the location would be. Savannah is very walkable and this place ended up to be in a great location. We only used our rental car when it rained or if we were visiting the nearby islands. The cottage was very clean and a great size. Everything was comfortable too. The price was very reasonable compared to other options. There was no problems finding parking right by the cottage. We did the trolley tour our first day which was a great way to get acclimated. We also did a food tour which was fantastic. Other than that, we walked around the city, visited Tybee Island and Hilton Head. Will definitely be back to visit!

The condo was perfect, you can’t beat the view. We felt safe and the surrounding area offered plenty of restaurants and bars. The state parks were good and the Mardi Gras in St Andrews was perfect. We will be back to Panama City beach.

Super clean, quiet street, comfortable king bed, couch was a little stiff, is about a 20 minute walk to the river. We walked all around the historic district and found that walking was the way to see downtown. Free parking on the street but not reserved for the rental.

The Cons: it has a NEST temp control for the hvac, it is programmed for the temp they want the cottage to be & goes back to programmed temp all throughout the day/night. The outside porch/patio is dirty, full of leaves, we weren't able to use it. Ceiling Fan in kitchen barely turns & makes loud hum. hard to find a free parking spot during the day but easy @ night. TV: unless you have a HULU acct or other streaming app you won't be watching, not even the local weather as the LivRm TV rabbit ears do not work & they do not have cable, they should've told us to bring our passwords. Pros: perfect size for 2, comfy bed, reasonable price for what you get, but I like other places we've stayed so will not be returning to this one. Lucky Savannah is extremely easy to rent with!

Savannah get away
We had a great stay at the Rose Cottage. Very clean and comfortable space that is within walking distance to everything and easy to find free street parking right on our street. The management company is also excellent and the hospitality app is a must download for some helpful info about your stay and the area. Would highly recommend staying here. Only suggestion would be to add some plastic cups to the cupboards so guests can take drinks to go with them.

This location was perfect for the Rock & Roll race series. We were able to walk to the start and from the finish line. We were able to do pre race runs through downtown. It was far enough away from the popular areas, so it was quiet. Yet, it was close enough to walk or have short drives. Cute cottage with everything we needed.

Oddly, the biggest drawbacks were the small bathroom and the uncomfortable couch. Someone else had mentioned the couch in their review and I thought that they were being nitpicky. But this couch really is so uncomfortable. Not so fun for watching TV at night. But other than that, it was a great place and we loved how close it was to everything.
