Whether you are wanting to ski to your heart's content during winter or are aiming to hike along the peaks nearby, you won't have to venture far. Mammoth Mountain Ski Area offers unlimited runs for all experience levels just four and a half miles from your front door! Come summer, the golfers of the group can indulge in a round of 18 in the mountain air at Sierra Star Golf Course or Snowcreek Golf Course. Last, but certainly not least, a day trip to Yosemite National Park is 45 miles from your front door! THINGS TO KNOW The internet in this area is unreliable. This home does not allow early check-in. Please remember to bring your pool towels, we only provide regular towels for your stay. While pots and pans are available for use, as a safety precaution, consumables such as oil, spices, and coffee are not provided. A 4x4 is recommended during the winter season, while chains are required in all vehicles. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Such a great condo! So easy to catch the shuttle to the mountain.

Very comfortable, well stocked place, easy location, close to stores and ski resort. Very impressed with very friendly and clear communication, (keyless) check-in and directions by property management! Everything went so smoothly, efficiently, and easily. We had a very enjoyable vacation.

Cleanliness, kitchen availability of pans, utensils, etc., distance to “The Village”, management companies response time.
Disliked:
1. Having to be patient for hot water even if we were using it for the first time during the day. Property booklet requests for renters to be patient with the hot water for about 15-30 minutes between showers but it was more like 2 hours. This isn’t ideal for a family of 5. We ensured we were taking quick showers throughout our stay.
2. Thin walls result in hearing a lot of noise from the upstairs tenants even during quite time.
3. In my opinion, the master bedroom beds are not comfortable.
We will not be returning to this property.

Stayed with wife and kids. The place is great, kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, the pool, the condo's spa, pool and game room are great.
The area for improvement would be cleaning the floor (everything else was ok). Just by walking barefoot we'd get our feet very dirty.

We had a great visit, the condo was spacious and very clean. Centrally located and only a few minutes away from anything you need (grocery store, sports/bike rental shops, restaurants, etc) and a short drive away from the lakes. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we visit Mammoth!

Central location, short drive to Eagle lodge and the Village. Big supermarket short walk away. Cosy house with everything we needed. Vacasa were very, very slow to respond to messages and unable to help with our concerns. The code we were given for the facilities (sauna, spa, games room, laundry) was an old one and they were unable to get us the updated code which was very disappointing. I had read this had been an issue in a previous review so emailed for confirmation that we would have access which was verified…but despite a few phone calls a week after we arrived, we never got access. We also had a leak in the bedroom window which was dripping for a few days and Vacasa never responded to my message. We were also under the impression that we had a mid stay clean and linen change (18 night stay) but they said this wasn’t the case so we had to find a laundromat to wash linen and towels. So, I’m a nutshell, the unit was great but very disappointed with Vacasa.

I stayed here with my daughter and son in-law and a 9 and 7 YO. Plenty of room inside and nicely remodeled kitchen. Everything we needed was provided. We walked to Old Mammoth for dinner or coffee. A couple of minor quirks: we were left only one key and the combo to the pool gate listed in the unit was off by one digit.

Plenty of space to unpack and hang clothes. Came with lots of spices for cooking, kitchen items, shampoo, soap, lots of clean towels, dish and dishwasher soap, paper towels, etc.
Cons: Cable wasn't working, but used our Netflix account, so the boys were happy. Some of the kitchen items (trays/pans) were very old (and should be tossed), carpet very worn in bedrooms and looked dirty even though they were vacuumed, large couch was comfortable but didn't feel clean, master shower drips and wasn't cleaned properly at the base. The code for the pool, gameroom, laundry was left and had to call Vacassa to get one that only opened the pool, so asked someome else for a different one. All fixable.
The place was passable and comfortable for my family and reasonable for the area. Be prepared to pay double the listing with all the taxes and fees added on.

Our Summer Getaway
Enjoyed our two night stay. Unit is well equipped and was spic-n-span. WiFi is strong. Chipmonks on deck kept were entertained. Easy exterior access (which we wanted during Covid Pan) with "no-contact" web check-in. (Mini-blind behind TV is "tired" but functional.) Reasonable nightly rate, but cleaning fees seemed high (but then it's a Pandemic). Will definitely look to schedule again. - - Gordon & Genie

Great location... Just not that clean
This place is in a great location for accessing all Mammoth has to offer. We were here in summer and enjoyed playing in the lakes, the local creek with the kids, eating out, and a day trip to Bodie.
The space is a decent size, though entertainment is a bit old skool (think limited dvd selection).
Our major problem were ants that we spotted on arrival and couldn't get rid of them the whole time. The place just didn't quite feel clean enough, and I suspect that this attracted our little non-paying ant visitors.
