Great local pub with excellent staff.
Greay beers and good food and a nice beer garden and bar games inside.
Nice rooms with comfy beds and good bathrooms albeit shower over bath rather than separate.
We stayed during heatwave and the rooms were extremely hot even with fans. Having windows open was very noisy outside with early morning bin collections and some kind of condenser. Saying that, most places will have struggled with that heat so cant lay blame on the pub really!
Parking on the street was fine overnight but during the day very expensive.
Minor points though...a great place to stay.

The staff that gave us the key was very warm and welcoming🫱🏻🫲🏼🙌👏. He did a good security check by not giving my friend key until I sent my booking reference because my friend got there before me👌🏻🙌🙌😀
The room was so neat and spacious 👌🏻🤩🥰
The bathroom was so clean👏👏
The bed is so comfy 😅🙏🏻
There was no fridge in the room🫣🫣
At least a table fridge will be ideal
The rooms are on the 2nd floor...one should be able to chill her drinks and relax.....not running down the stairs to buy needed things😎😎
Why is there no iron in the room afterall you left hair dryer in the room🤔🤔
Please fix the toilet window
Buy a better bin in the toilet....not the cooking pot cover you left there🫣🫣🫣

It’s in a great location and the staff were very good. Meals were a good price , good size and hot. We liked the fact we could sit outside to eat as it was a nice day. Breakfast looked amazing but we didn’t have time to try one.
Unfortunately our room wasn’t what we expected, it was ok but there was a need for some refurb and jobs to be done. For example the bathroom
blind didn’t work and stained , the latches on the bedroom window either didn’t open or were broken so you couldn’t leave it open. Didn’t expect a shower in the actual bedroom and not in the bathroom! Our TV would only let you listen to a radio station the remote did all sorts of things it shouldn’t which didn’t enable us to have channels on we would have. We did report it and straight away they asked advice from the manager, who wasn’t working that night but they couldn’t work it out. They offered us a free drink or reduction off the food but we had just literally just eaten and had a bottle of wine. They promised to get it sorted for the second night but on return it hadn’t been looked at ( as controller was in the same place we left it) A little disappointing but other than that would return but just not that room!
