Condo was comfortable and located close to the beach and pier

Overall experience was good. Great location to access beach, pier and downtown. Was very noisy due to windows that faced out to an inner courtyard.
Patio could have been swept and cleaned much better.

The location of the apartment, is a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Check in/out was really easy.

Everything was on point the only thing that I was disappointed about was that I wasn’t told before hand that the washer and dryer cost money.. it was nearly impossible to find quarters and if I would of know before hand I would got quarters before we left for the trip.. so that is why nothing was washed.. other wise everything else was great.

Great location, really enjoyed it. Would stay again. Loved the beach trail.

Great location and decent one bedroom apartment. But beware there is no a/c and the apartment seems to trap the heat. Can get very hot!

This is the perfect spot to stay in San Clemente if you’ve traveling with 2-3 people. Spotlessly clean and perfectly located close to the beach and local shops and restaurants. Only complaint I have is with Vacasa, sending us the incorrect code to open the door and leaving us out in the rain for two hours since it’s nearly impossible to get ahold of someone after hours. Other than that it was a perfect stay

The unit was clean, well stocked and decorated. Perfect for a couple and one or two kids (sofa sleeper). Excellent location, can view ocean from balcony and a short walk to the beach, pier, restaurants, etc.

Terrific property a short walk to the pier, coffee shop and restaurants across from the beach, as well as access to the beautiful beach trail for morning walk or run. Recommend!

good clean unit - just needs new blinds in bedroom to block very bright door lights from other units at night - didn't help sleeping

Perfect space for our family of four (two adults and two kids 5 and under). Very clean, well-stocked. We could have comfortably fit another adult or two more young kids for sleeping. The patio space was fantastic, with grill, high table for dining, and fire table and offered two limited views (west and north) of ocean and coast. We enjoyed a spectacular sunset on our final night. Also an easy 2 minute walk to the San Clemente pier, beach, and shops. No A/C (only heating) but was comfortable with windows open and a fan to draw in ocean breeze if needed.

This is an ideal location for a family of 3 or 4 with younger children. Spotless and well stocked with a boogie board, beach chairs and small cooler.

The condo was clean i.e. bedding, dishes, bathroom and towels upon arrival.
The problem we had was with HUGE COCKROACHES!!
Day 1: Check in after a 7hr drive we were happy with the initial look and aesthetic of the condo. Upon opening windows and doors because of the heat and no AC we noticed the windows were very old (approx 70’s). The windows did not meet the screen and/or frame evenly and formed spaces/openings. This would likely be an entry point for what comes next…
When dark, we went out to the deck to enjoy the partial ocean view and saw cockroaches pass by on the deck and crawl onto the wall over to the neighbors deck. Grossed out we went inside.
Day2: We went to Disneyland and stayed at a Disney neighbor hotel for the night- we did not want to make the 40min drive back to the condo.
Day3: Relaxation day to recover from Disneyland and enjoy the condo and beach. Nightfall came and we were in the bedroom watching TV and as I get up to walk out of the bedroom to get a glass of wine, a HUGH Cockroach runs across my path. Barefoot, I scream and run, my husband jumps up to see what is going on and the Cockroach runs under the door of the furnace closet which is next to the bedroom. My husband tried to kill it but it went under the water heater pan. We block the gap between the floor and the door with a towel to make sure it did not come out again. We block the vent which resides on the lower wall with the ironing board. We pick up our luggage from the floor, shoes, etc. and make sure there is no way for cockroaches to get into our personal belongings. Meanwhile, we see another Cockroach on the deck. Though uncomfortable, we try to move past it since we are on the first vacation in two years.
Day4: We head out for the day and get back excited for the Ohana Fest Encore concert the following day. I fall asleep under the covers and my husband falls asleep on top of the covers watching tv. He wakes up to a sensation on his leg… a HUGE COCKROACH is ON THE BED ON HIS LEG RUNNING ACROSS HIS SKIN!!! He screams, kicks his leg and chases it with a flip flop. I wake up to this panic of another HUGE COCKROACH AGAIN but even worse it is on the bed and on his skin!!! We are so disgusted we pack our clothes knowing we had enough.
DAY 5: I call the Vacasa help desk explain to them we are checking out immediately while fully explaining our disgust. The lady was very nice and said they would contact the team to investigate and let me know how they will handle the situation. We did not get any offer of rehousing us for the next two nights but we didn’t care at that point when cockroaches are crawling on the bed, it is no longer sanitary. I called around for hotels which were all booked because Ohana Fest Concert was that day at 1pm. We check out and finally find a hotel to go to go to. Panicking we will be late to the concert and we had so much luggage, it was a huge inconvenience.
I call Vacasa help desk to report the incident on the first and second cockroach incident. Since then, I called 3 or 4 times to follow up on any credit for unused nights or some sort of resolution. I continue to get the run around. It is now 7 days later and no resolution.
I also purchased insurance due to the nature of the pandemic. This did not help.
Bottom line: We paid 2100 to stay in a roach condo and for sanitary reasons we left early. Our vacation was filled with extra expenses of finding a last minute replacement hotel, launder all items we brought, huge inconveniences, and unsanitary negligence of not taking proper measures to keep cockroaches out of the condo.

Great rental for 2. Would not work for more. No A/C and the old windows were tinny so the beautiful breezes could not get in the unit. It was about 80 at night inside with fans running. Not a summertime rental.

Easy check in, great location. Got a little stuffy in the afternoon. The sofa is an extended sofa, not a pull out bed but decent. Easy walk to the beach.

Great location near beach with off-street parking. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Nice patio/balcony. No A/C but there were fans. Place gets pretty hot with not great airflow. We had 4 (3 adults and a teenager). Definitely a bit cramped and the sofa bed really only sleeps 1 adult comfortably. Great place for 2-3...4 is pushing it.

Beach View is fabulous!! Fantastic location just a few minute walk to the pier and nearby restaurants. The place was super clean and has great furnishings. It's well appointed with everything you need from beach towels to wine glasses to everything in between. Two huge tvs that are set up so you can easily login to your Netflix. Nice balcony with two peak ocean views. The local manager was super responsive to any requests I had during our stay. San Clemente is a gem and Beach View is a perfect place to call home while you're visiting.
