THINGS TO KNOW This home is on the second level and is not a step-free unit. This property is one of four neighboring condos that can be rented together as San Clemente - Hideaway Fourplex. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Security camera details: There are 7 active exterior surveillance cameras on the property at SN13, 338. W. Avenida Palizada, San Clemente units A, B, C & D. There is one on the corner above garage D facing the driveways. There are two on the corner above garage A, one facing the driveways and the other one is facing the street corner of the property. As you walk up the walkway to the units, there is one above the mailboxes near the corner by the first set of stairs which is facing the street and the walkway. There is one at the top of the first staircase by unit D and it is facing down the stairs. There is one at the top of the second staircase above unit B and it is facing down the stairs and the front door of unit A which is at the bottom of that staircase. There is one at the top corner of the building above unit A which faces the courtyard and entry area of the property. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Very convenient location! Walking distance to Del Mar and very cute inside. Loved having the garage also. Just know that you will have to carry your luggage upstairs and the stairs are skinny.

We have been coming here for the past 5 years and we will stay at no other property. It's our home away from home. We come here and spend time with all our family & friends. We are able to walk to all of our favorite spots and just enjoy the Beach life.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment is nicely appointed and well located. The neighborhood and neighbors were very quiet.

Our 1st time will in San Clemente during the July 4th holiday. We had a family of 4 and with a kiddo. The unit had everything we needed. We did have extra beach towels and the washer/dryer shared area was perfect. The beach access has a hill - bring a wagon (we did) and is super close with a FUN park with play area. We walked a very short distance to the pier, the beaches and dining/shoppes on Del Mar. we cooked and bbq’d at the unit and it was very well equipped. The unit is extremely clean and comfy beds (even the pull out couch). Portable fan didn’t work, but we had AC and great breezes I’d you open windows and doors. Bathroom lock not working but it didn’t matter.
This was a memorable trip. We rent at the beach often (usually newport) and will definitely recommend and re- rent again here with more family and friends to take all the units!
Hideaway is One of the best places I’ve stayed in.

Great location, 5minute walk to the beach and trails. 10-15 minute walk to downtown area shops and restaurants (provided you could remember that the streets all inter changed names and directions LOL). Easy checkin , great to have laundry on site, neighborhood was quiet, garage a little small, could not park our suv inside but having the driveway was great. Inside decorated nicely and enough room for another couple if necessary or kids if a family. Enjoyed the CA experience but traffic getting around outside of town was not a good thing. Golfed locally 4 times and took in the Reagan Museum (plan on a day there), and the local wineries. Managed to hike a couple of days and get to the beach. Overall would do this again at this property. Some of the wedding guests also took advantage of VRBO properties in the area and those who stayed at the hotels were envious. This is my 5th experience with VRBO and have never been disappointed. Overall good value for money spent.

The location was great, walking distance to pier, beach and a couple of good restaurants. The one bedroom was clean. The kitchen had all the basics neatly organized too. There is one parking spot which was appreciated since parking is a premium this close to the pier and beach. The apartment is in a residential neighborhood and is quiet.

We absolutely loved this property for a pre and post wedding quiet place for our son and NOW daughter-in-law to stay for their wedding weekend. It was the absolute perfect place for the two of them, and they couldn't have asked for anything better!

This house was so conveniently located. It was a quick walk from the beach and a quick walk from the main strip. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. The keyless entry was super convenient as well. It made for a very relaxing stay!

The bed was so comfortable, but black-out curtains would have been appreciated since the sunlight starts creeping in around 5am and makes the room so bright. We did have to buy our own toilet paper since we were only provided 2 rolls for our stay from Wednesday-Sunday. Great walk to the beach and amazing restaurants less than a 10 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again!!

We appreciated the beach chairs and towels in the unit. Things that weren’t perfect: wi-fi was very slow, anytime any of the four garage doors opened or closed the unit shook and was noisy (but you get used to it), no vacuum in unit to get all the sand (just a broom). But those were pretty minor issues and we will definitely be back!
