Central location. Friendly & helpful staff
It was noisy. The noise from the reception was continuous with poor quality room’s door that had gap below it. There were ants in the bathroom.

The location of Hostal Alaska is amazing! Everything is within walking distance, metro station Sol is just a couple of steps away. The room and the bathroom are spacious. The staff is friendly, we asked for an extra duvet - no problem at all, however, they speak only Spanish. If you are a traveller whose needs are basic and you value location the most, then this is your choice.
We could hear everything from the reception area in the room as the soundproofing is not very good so using earplugs is a must if you’re a light sleeper.
