Best location ever! Having the trains so close was amazing, it made it so easy to go anywhere and the beauty of it was there was no noise to be heard in our room. Loved the décor, the never ending hallway was fabulous and looked royal. We had a river view room and it was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We could also walk along the river to the town on a flat surface before venturing up around the beautifully tiled streets which were picturesque.
The staff on the reception desk gave us recommendations for eating Portuguese and it was delicious trying new foods.
I can't think of anything we didn't like which is a good thing. :)

Lovely building which has been carefully restored. The location is great if travelling by train. Room was small but airy we only stayed for 1 night and was good. Breakfast was also very good
