Great location! Cozy older house with lots of character. Will likely book again next time we are in Hood River.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location is awesome, with 2 great brewpubs just down the road. We enjoyed being walking distance to the Santa train and the Children’s Playground, as well as lots of great shops and restaurants. We were very comfortable in the house, and had everything we needed, and would happily return here again.

This is quaint cottage is tastefully decorated. It is an old home....so yes, the pipes run slow and the floor boards squeak. That did not create a problem for us, but if you are looking for upscale and modern, this is not your home. For us, it was perfect! We walked all over the town with our pup and loved how close the cottage was to everything. We even walked to uptown to access the trailhead on 7th for the Indian Creek Trail and down to the water front....exploring different breweries and coffee shops along the way. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Hood River! The place was very cute and functioned well for us. We loved being able to walk downtown or go running along the water. We’d happily stay again if in the area.

We had to book out about a year an advance because Hood River fills up quickly in the Summer. This house was really nice and within walking distance of town. It's a little older, but that's pretty common for the area. Would recommend it and would stay here again!

We loved being walking distance to downtown Hood River in this cute cottage. House was clean and we did some much needed laundry. Perfect for our family of 3!

Everything from getting into the cottage to getting around town was convenient and day. The owners are super responsive and helpful. They made sure I made it to the house and addressed a couple requests I had immediately. The location is excellent - walking distance to restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the stay and was grateful they allow dogs since my elderly pup needs special care. In all, a great visit and look for we'd to coming back.

My wife and I stayed here for a wedding downtown. The location made it super easy to walk everywhere we needed to. The house had everything we needed. The stairs to the basement are steep, and might not be great with small kids.

Cute, pet friendly home in a wonderful location within walking distance to farmer’s market and downtown. The only thing missing was a shower curtain. Overall easy check in process and a great place to stay!

We booked this last minute as a place to stay with our 5 year old and 1 year old for the Christmas Train Ride. This was a perfect cozy home that accommodated the 4 of us and our dog perfectly. Walk to great food and enjoy the scenery.

Charming (dog friendly for my golden retriever!!) two bedroom house in an ideal location. Just on the cusp of the main drag, it was quiet and felt very safe (single gal here so that's a big one for me), but was also a quick walk to breweries, restaurants, wineries, coffee, and shops. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Can’t get a better location than this. Home was nice and comfortable, but deck and backyard has a lot of unrealized potential.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It had everything we needed for the weekend, it was clean and comfortably furnished, and check-in and check-out were very easy. In addition, it was just a quick walk from all of the downtown restaurants, bars, and shops. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic cottage for Spring or Fall
This cottage is exactly as pictured and located in a fantastic spot. You’re blocks away from downtown HR. We stayed here during a heat wave and the one air conditioning unit located in the family room does nothing to keep the bedrooms cool. They also could invest in a rod and shower curtain so you can stand up and take a shower without getting water everywhere. Other than that, great find!

Overall, great stay!
I would just say there are a few things would make it better..
The shower needs a curtain. Trying to shower while not having one, even with the handheld shower head… we’ll it’s definitely not relaxing. I spent a lot of time wiping up water around the tub after.
There are only 2 full beds. It’s says that in the description… but I just want to remind everyone.
There aren’t any decent screens on the windows. Let’s just say the one AC doesn’t keep up and you can’t get fresh air in without getting eaten up.
The air tower in the master bedroom is a dehumidifier…. Not a fan.
No dish rags…
There isn’t an inside bin for recycling, but they do have a bin outside.
Everything drains slow. It’s a old house..
Hope this helps! You really can’t beat the location! Walking distance downtown and to the farmers market. A longer one to the water front!
I’d stay here again, but not for a weeks visit. You definitely pay for the location.

Lovely
Overall, the property was well cared for and as expected. Small issues: there are ants in the kitchen, so that was unfortunate. Also, there was no hairdryer as indicated in the listing. The shower makes for messy showering as there is no curtain.
