Tate's Retreat is just a few blocks from the Sandy Shores of Lake Michigan, this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom is complete with a game room! It offers everything you need for your getaway! The primary Bedroom has a King size bed, Bedroom #2 has 1 Queen bed all rooms and bedrooms complete with blackout blinds! The kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate dining room. The main floor living room offers an additional sleeping space (double) and a 70' streaming tv! The lower level has a pool table and another living room with a streaming tv, with 2 twin beds, an additional cot tucked away in a nook. The backyard has a large deck with a pergola for shade fo seating and a table for dining with a large fenced in back yard. There is an additional twin rollaway bed for more sleeping. All on a quiet tree lined street. We are close to Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall, Blue Chip Casino, less than an hour from Notre Dame University, local breweries and wineries.

It would be a far “walk” to the beach especially with kids however it is a VeRY short drive to the beach, zoo & Botanical garden. The house was clean & perfect for our family of 4. 2 young kids in 2 twin beds, and a King. Also a fenced in yard for the dog.

Great home for family and friends. Home is just as the pictures represent. Property manager was great and very responsive with any issues. Home needs Beach chairs for older adults to use as the home has none and you are at the beach! Will rent again when in the area.

This home has everything you need for a nice stay—comfortable beds, pool table in basement and back porch with grill and seating area. The decor is attractive. Kitchen fully stocked — more than many other rentals we have stayed at. Quiet neighborhood, but not a lot of options (coffee, restaurant) to walk to. Washington park and Lake Michigan about 10-15 minutes. Bikes would be a great option. The outside of the house isn’t super impressive, but the inside is a nice surprise!

The house was very spacious, clean, and comfortable! The pool table was a huge hit for my family. The neighborhood was quiet, and the backyard was a private, peaceful oasis. We walked to Washington Park Zoo one day, and it was only about a 15 minute walk. We loved that we were close enough to Chicago to make it to a Cubs game, and we also spent a day exploring New Buffalo, MI.

I had a great first experience with renting a VRBO. The property looks exactly like the pictures! The property was safe, comfortable and great for all ages. The home is modern and has the amenities needed for a stay! The pool table was definitely a plus!!!! We were extremely pleased with this home!!!

We stayed here over the weekend and loved our stay. The house is nice with plenty of room and was very clean. We had our dog so the fenced-in yard was a huge plus. Very nice stay for the price.

The house was as advertised in the pictures. Kitchen very well stocked and plenty of room. Our teens loved the basement and preferred to camp out on the enormous couch. Internet TV was a bit of a challenge, but I understand that is normal for rentals these days. House was a bit of a trek to the beach, but we did it several times and by the end it didn't seem that far. We drove to drop off our beach gear and one person drove back to the house, then walked to the beach. That made it very manageable.

Great house, with easy access to the beach, the outlet mall, the zoo, the botanical gardens, and much more. Very clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We love the decor and having the downstairs was a wonderful bonus for relaxing. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful home, one of the nicest we have stayed in yet. Bit of a hike to the beach but we knew that when we booked it. The only bad thing I can say is I wanted to clean sand and couldn't find anything good to use but mops.

Nice house with plenty of room to relax. Ten minute walk to the beach. Twenty minutes to the zoo. Kitchen well stocked. BBQ grill worked great.
