Between the patio with a propane grill and the spacious upper deck with lots of seating, there's room for the whole group to spend time in the sun or under the stars. Walk just minutes to Heavenly Gondola and the beach, with fantastic mountain views. Rent your gear there so you don't have to lug your skis! Restaurants and entertainment are also within walking distance. This unique property has two open and welcoming living areas, with ample seating and TVs for those relaxing apres-ski moments. The living room on the main floor features rich hardwood floors and a wood-burning stove with stone surround; gather for a toasty fire and hot chocolate. The main floor also has a full kitchen, while the second floor features a wet bar. Both floors have dining areas, as well. The primary bedroom is outfitted with a California king bed and TV. Three guest bedrooms each feature a comfy queen bed. A washer/dryer and complimentary WiFi are provided. THINGS TO KNOW This property is not equipped with air-conditioning. Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances. Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home. In response to South Lake Tahoe City ordinances on short-term rentals, we are operating under STVR License #103218. As per the ordinance, this vacation rental cannot be used for any type of parties, including weddings and receptions. Maximum allowable City occupancy is 10 people and 4 cars; over occupancy will be subject to City citation/fine up to $2,000. Please note that we have a strict NO PARTY policy; failure to comply will result in eviction. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great location, large house, missing some necessities (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags) but property managers made it right and dropped off same day. Great communication and would definitely stay at this property again.

The property was spacious. Pictures are accurate. The house was clean. The natural light was excellent. Bring your own firewood. Perfect amount of dishes. One and 1/2 blocks from the water. 3 blocks from shopping and Starbucks. I wish you had a hot tub. I will stay here every time I visit South Lake Tahoe! Only problem is figuring out how to lock the door. Turn key is not easy.

This cabin was beautiful and big enough. The location was pretty really close to the lake and heavenly shopping and dinning center. The information provided by property management was clear and responded in a timely manner with any question I had. Check in was easy but unfortunately we weren’t allowed to do early check in therefore we had to be around town for a few hours on Friday because we weren’t allowed to check in until 3pm. The cabin was very comfortable the only downfall was the fact that it doesn’t have an AC therefore it was really warm in the house...we had to open windows :) and turn on fans even after putting heater to the lowest level possible. The beds were comfortable and very clean, the view from the patio was really nice!! There was enough dishes and kitchen supplies to make breakfast and dinner. The internet worked well and we enjoyed playing games with the ones provided. Overall, it was a great experience and so far the best cabin we had stayed at in the past ten years.

Place was filthy when we showed up. Let me be clear, I've never written nor talked to anyone this way in my life. We showed up at 5PM (check in was 3PM) and the place wasn't cleaned. I understand mistakes happen (no cleaning), but to be treated the way I was treated when trying to contact Turnkey is unacceptable, unprofessional, and quite frankly disrespectful. I called 5+ times and every time I was told a manager or a local representative would call me back, that NEVER happened so I had to call back again and again. We made beds, did laundry, took garbage out, cleaned dishes, etc. We checked out Sunday and I'm still dealing with the issue (today is Th). I spent 6+ hours during my first 24 hours on the phone with them and another 4+ since I've been home. I'm requesting some monetary compensation and the most I'm being offered is the cleaning fee.... that should be obvious! At one point they offered the cleaning fee and an "inconvenience" fee but both weren't delivered. The actual place was fine, but I'd avoid it because of Turnkey and quite frankly I'd avoid any place operated by them. By far the worst customer service experience in my life. I also tried calling Vrbo and they were no help at all, they just blamed turnkey and said they're only a "platform." Currently waiting for a local field manager to call me back, I was promised a call within 24-48 hours. Of course that hasn't happened. Do a quick google search "turnkey vacation rentals review." Unfortunately, my experience looks like the norm.

However, parts of the home are dated, especially kitchen cabinets, furniture and lighting, which need attention. There is a fee for nearby beach access- recommend this should be included in rental agreement.

Words cannot explain the wonderful experience we had staying here. We had a group of 8 (5 adults, 3 kids) for Thanksgiving weekend (Wed night until Saturday morning) - and it was fantastic!! Even got a day of snow to play in. Cabin was warm and toasty with PLENTY of room! A nice deck on both levels each with a bbq grill. The view is nice and there is alot of space around the home so it was quiet and private. The staff who helped us with reservations were attentive, prompt, and did not miss a beat on giving us updates. The amount of space and privacy is amazing. It was super clean and the downstairs kitchen was big enough for us to cook our Thanksgiving feast and fully stocked! It is nicely kept up, clean bathrooms, nice large showers and the privacy between the upstairs and downstairs was a nice feature. Great ammenities! The location was perfect, a 5min walk to the lake, a 10min walk to the main street with shopping access. We had no issues and never had to call for assistance. Thank you VRBO for the amazing service, you helped our family enjoy a wonderful holiday together and we will be sure to come back again!

The rental home was everything we wanted. It was a short walk to the beach and the casinos. The house itself was perfect for the 9 of us to stay. The beds were comfortable and having two kitchens was a plus! The only thing that was an issue was that there weren't any extra toilet paper or kitchen trash bags. We had to buy some at the store. This rental group went above and beyond though. We had left our wedding cake in the freezer and they immediately shipped it to us without hassle. We are likely to rent from them again.
