This property worked well for our weekend getaway for 6 adults and one infant. It is spacious and everything is as pictured - the ping pong table and hot tub were highlights for our group. There was an issue with the oven, but communication with Phillipe was timely. Would stay again!

Philippe’s place is absolutely perfect! We had 9 women and the views, the hot tub and the ping pong table were all a hit. The kitchen was a great size for all of us, and we could easily all sit at the kitchen table together. The outside patio had gorgeous views of the Fraser River - we took some lovely photos at Golden Hour. We’ll definitely be back. We did the Vedder Ridge Trail during the day, and enjoyed stopping at all the farm stands on our way home. If you like Dahlias, make sure to stop by Moore Bloom Dahlias which is about a 10 min drive from the house for their roadside bouquets!

The scenery is breathtaking especially from the patio & 3 of the 5 rooms facing the Fraser River. We arrived later in the evening (after work in Vancouver) in 4 separate cars and parking was challenging (the driveway was very narrow & we were not given access to the garage). Bring extra towels if you are using the hot tub. The sauces and spices are old so we had to buy our own. Some of the pots and pans were rusted/ nonstick flaking off so bring some of your own. Host provided new pillows for our stay but if you like medium to firm pillows, BYO. Bring tissue boxes and napkins too as there were none. We cleaned up the place better than when we arrived (especially the kitchen and dining) but this site does not allow us to post photos or video to show. Overall, it’s a lovely getaway with friends.

Great host. I made a mistake in booking and we needed an extra night and he was able to help us out. Was a fantastic place for our family to meet. They flew in from different parts of the U.S. Everyone enjoyed the house and fantastic views of the Frasier River. Highly recommend!!!!!

Every Mothers Day our family plans a weekend getaway. We booked this house because of the views and it had everything we needed. It did not disappoint!! Beautiful views and stunning sunsets. The weather could not have been any better. We hope to come back again! Thank you Phillipe.

The house is beautiful with all needed supplies. It took a little bit to figure out the heat for both upstairs and down. If you set the fireplace to run by temperature, the downstairs will not heat up properly and can be very cold through the night. Be sure to turn the upstairs fireplace off and let the furnace disperse heat evenly upstairs and down. Spent a little bit of time in the hot tub and really enjoyed it. The couches are very comfortable and relaxing. The view is amazing, once the fog finally lifted. The fish tank is a nice addition but desperately needs a good cleaning. Stove and oven work great. The BBQ outside doesn’t fire up unless you use a lighter. It also gets very hot quickly and flares up a lot. Wish there was a covered area for the BBQ for when it’s raining. A raccoon sat at the back door forever, begging for some food. It was very cute to see, a very determined raccoon. The pool and ping ball table are a great addition to some fun time. The bedrooms are very roomy and comfortable. The current blankets feel more like a summer type cover but there are some down quilts in the closet that made it warmer for the night. By far the best house we have rented for our Executive Retreat so far.

We recently had a multi-generation weekend here. Sorry for the long review, but as I haven't seen too many yet, wanted to add a few more comments to give a bigger picture Host Phillipe is a very responsive host. He's quick to follow-up and respond to any questions. Check In/Out Very simple. Clear instructions. Found them to be minimal compared to some other rentals we've stayed at over the years. Location The house is not in walking distance of stores restaurants. However that is a plus. The neighborhood is quiet and while you can see neighbors, it is very private. As others have mentioned, the views are stunning and a calming change from city 'hecticness', it was easy to lose time just taking them in. Cultus Lake, stores, restaurants, whatever you need only 20-30 min drive depending on traffic. House The house itself is open and spacious. Upper living/dining area and lower pool/ping pong table area allowed for lots of group family time. Large bedrooms...3 on upper level, two on lower allowed everyone to have their own space and privacy when needed. The home is very welcoming. Kitchen Kitchen is well laid out and has all the basics. (We brought a few extra frying pans, as we always do when staying in a vacation rental, because of our group size and not knowing what supplies would be there. A few more serving type dishes would have been nice, but by no means a hindrance) It's easy for several people to be working in the kitchen simultaneously. Bar counter served as our 'buffet' station. It was the center of activity on the weekend. Outdoor space As the pictures show, the outdoor balcony space is large. There are plenty of seating options. The pictures posted at the time of our booking didn't show a BBQ Grill, but there is one (yay!). Hot tub was a nice bonus in the evenings...its at the back of the house. An additional night would have been nice, good memories were definitely made.

Amazing weekend with stunning views

Words cannot describe how our group felt when we first arrived. The views from the massive windows over looking the fraser river was a treat. Enjoying our dinners from the balcony was such a joy that our group didn't want to leave! The hot tub was the icing on the cake and was super relaxing!
