Lovely ambience, friendly staff, good facilities

The property was lovely and we maintained outside however we expected a lot more for the money. Could hardly get a place by the pool as there were taken early in the morning. And we also thought by booking the deluxe room we would have exclusive access to the other pool however this is very miss leading when reading the rooms.

Great location to beach, restaurants and shopping. Lovely hotel with friendly staff, lovely room and nice restaurants by the pool. Well definitely go back!

Great place, staff was very friendly and helpful especially the porter. Breakfast was good but rather crowded.

Booked a garden room which was very tired paint chipping and bathroom not ok. The toilet seat was yellow stained For what we paid I don’t think it was value for money. Despite that tge location was excellent with lots of choices for meals etc We just found it very old and needs a update but maybe more of the expensive rooms would have been better

Great position right on beach snd close to everything you need

I was surprised at how highly rated this hotel is on Expedia. The staff and grounds are lovely, but that is everywhere in Bali. The rooms are old, dirty and in need of a serious make over. Lamp shades stained. Floors chipped and marked. Bathrooms mouldy and in very poor condition. My basin didn’t drain properly. The shower was moody and cracked. The toilet was old and didn’t flush well. I think it is seriously over priced. The breakfast is very low quality as well.

Excellent property..beautiful gardens and pools. Right on beach..easy access to numerous restaurants spas etc all around property. Definitely one of the best in Sanur!

Loved the position of the Griya Santrian. Lovely views from the beach loungers. Deluxe room by centre pool was good. Surprised that there were no activities like cultural performances or pool activities. The breakfast was disappointing,poor quality juice and the coffee was undrinkable. That was a topic raised by everyone we met. Would return if breakfast was better. We prefer the Maya and the Hyatt Regency which are not so resistant to change. Felt that the Griya Santrian needs to listen to it’s guests more

I enjoyed our stay very much. My only issue was for the price of the room the fridge was very old and rusted. It still worked fine

A good hotel, Lovey gardens and very quiet yet right on the the both the beach and the main strip. Lovely friendly helpful staff and a quiet comfortable room with great AC. I would stay here aging

Everything about the property, service, location, 3 pools, breakfast buffet excellent, and right on the beach. Very relaxing and sometimes live music and Balinese dancing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Recommended by a colleague. 3pools and one of them is located beachfront. Great view. Beautiful gardens and such friendly staff. Location is excellent too. Stayed there 4nights while we were in Sanur. Went to a different hotel after been in Nusa Lembongan. Omg. We regretted we didn’t go back to Griya. We will definitely go back there again.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay

The management staff , in particular, The Reservations Manager seems to be completely incognisant of the complexities of contemporary air travel, .inconsiderate of well intentioned people and unaware of the Value of high paying ,return customers. We will not be back .

Gardens and pools. Spectacular We were in Room 136 and Wifi was just ordinary. Lots of drop outs

The Griya Santrian was well situated between the main shopping strip and the beach. The rooms were big, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and caring. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent location along the beach. Breakfast buffet was adequate - was happy to have the bubur every day! Food is decent, however, wine prices were ludicrous! Housekeeping forgot to provide foot mats or refresh depleted toiletries. Beautiful grounds and lovely pools.

Nice quiet place to stay.

Very nice place. Because of COVID, restaurant closed. But excellent restaurant nearby (short walk north along beach path) at Tandjung Sari.

Absolutely amazing! Would recommend to any of our friends and families if they travel to Bali! Noticed that there are many returning guests that come to this resort every year for extended time. Love the greeting with a little towel that looks like a marshmallow but you dip it in a little bit of water and it expands perfectly!! Such a fun touch!! Spa is amazing! Pool tendants are great to maintain the cleanliness, but could do with some more rounds to offer if guests need a drink or snack. Food is pretty great! Would have loved a bit of variety day to day for the breakfast buffet- including some mangosteens haha! Liked the pool towel service! The Balinese decor was amazing with the traditional Balinese dinner once a week! I would have loved to try some more yoga classes if they were offered! But loved the complimentary flower offering making session! And the honeymoon welcome cake was such a delight!!! And free room upgrade much appreciated! Handy to have a clothesline in the bathroom. But could have used more complimentary water bottles daily as 2 is not enough for 2 guests daily. Truly appreciated the tour and taxi recommendations as well! Absolutely love this place!
