I was disappointed that I did not get at least complimentary 2 bottles of water for my tea and coffee. I know since Covid many things have changed in hotels, like toothbrushes etc. but water is, I feel essential for the coffee and tea that was provided. Other items I can live without. On the positive side, your staff were very accommodating and pleasant. I felt welcome and the stay was relaxing. Since I mostly dealt with the women at Reception, please thank them for dealing with TV issues and help with food orders since it was Monday and the family restaurant was closed. I don't eat packaged foods that were available at the hotel, but ended up eating them since I was hungry and tired and just wanted sleep. St. Jacobs was also closed. It would be helpful to have a map of restaurants and supermarkets within a short drive of the hotel for tired and hungry travelers.

Conveniently located next to St Jacobs market. Had everything we needed. Unfortunately our stay was impacted by loud guests in the hall until 4am.

The stay was ok, not great, not terrible. When we arrived in our room, we had no towels. Someone spontaneously came to bring us facecloths but we never did get any towels. We were out for the evening, came back and zero parking available. We were told to park on the far side of the hotel next door and walk over late at night. Hotel guests were obnoxiously loud, slamming does and blaring tvs starting at 5am. The breakfast was just ok, very basic. So while the room was clean and relatively comfortable, there was also a lot of room for improvement

We were only there for one night but we were pleased with the hotel. The staff were friendly. Our room was clean. I liked that they used refillable soaps and not small disposable containers. The breakfast was very good with lots of options.

The breakfast was repetitive almost every day! The diversity and quality were not acceptable. Breakfast was a significant point of weakness for this hotel. Other than that everything was fine.

The staff were nice and the breakfast buffet was good. The room itself, especially the bathroom, was not the cleanest and had old furniture and not very luxurious for over $200/night for a “king suite” as described. The pool is very outdated and only 4ft deep and crowded and small. It was extremely chemically treated and our eyes burned while in the pool area because of the chemicals used. Overpriced as whole.

After we checked in we were getting settled in our room and 2 cleaning staff unlocked my door and walked into my room. They acted like it was a joke. There were cheerleading teams also using the hotel and there were several girls running all over the hotel up to 1130 pm. Making noise and knocking on doors and running away. It was a very horrible experience overall.

Super stay. Room was clean and very quiet. Located close to many shops. We have stayed a few times and will continue to when we are in Waterloo region. Breakfast is included and parking is free.

The room was nice but the pool was filthy. They had put chemicals several hours earlier and everyone in the pool was still coughing persistently and sputtering due to the incredibly strong smell. Many people complained (one woman said her kids had asthma attacks from being in the pool). The staff was very dismissive continuously saying the levels were fine, though they did shut it down for the night after that. The next day the pool was open once again but visually still very dirty looking water. I believe the strong chemical reaction the day prior was due to treating such dirty pool water. We dont expect perfection at a hotel though this situation was worrisome and gross. I would have preferred them keeping it closed and making it clean for future guests even if it meant we missed out.

My only complaint is the shower setup, the controls aren't in easy reach, you have to stand under freezing water to turn it on and adjust the temperature, the door should be at the other side.

It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel is pretty standard fare but the it is close to St Jacobs and the staff were great. We’d stay again.

What was great was the weight room. Better than most hotels! What i didnt like was that Expedia did not accept CCA or DOD to reduce room fee. It was almost like Expedia prevented the hotel to reduce the cost which was annoying.

Clean, easy parking, spacious room, good breakfast. Noise from hockey tournament people late and crowded pool with some doing dangerous back flips into pool. Busy breakfast space. Some wear and tear in room and had to ask for shower curtain. Given accessible room which we didn’t ask for especially given standard king was rated higher by previous guests.

A nice, friendly, clean, safe place to stay with a good selection of breakfast options included. Friendly, helpful staff. Wallpaper is peeling in numerous places so it’s time for some maintenance in that regard.

This was my second stay here at the hotel. Once again, staff is always beyond friendly and accommodating. So kind and positive upon arrival and throughout our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. First trip was a family trip with kids in March, this time was a mother/daughter shopping trip to the market and it was great. Planning on making it a yearly trip so will definitely stay there again.
