Coming off a three-day road trip, staying at the Parker Guest House felt like a home away from home. An immediate warmth embraced us as we entered the property. Thanks to the fireplace and warm reception.Text communication ahead of our stay was polite and accommodating of our needs based on arrival time. The room was clean, the bedding had a nice thread count, and the mattress was super comfortable. Breakfast consisted of many healthy options and the kitchen area was bright with plentiful seating. I would 100% stay at The Parker Guest House again.

We loved the Parker Guest House. It is a really charming B&B close to the Mission, Dolores Park and the Castro. Carl was so very helpful when checking us in and with breakfast. He was a delight. Our room was small, but charming and it was ADA accessible which was necessary for one of our party. It was a bit tricky for her to turn her wheelchair to go down the ramp in the tight space. Also, the only way to enter the property in a wheelchair is through the parking lot because of stairs in the front. But overall, we loved our stay at the Parker Guest House and we plan on staying again.

We really loved the Parker Guest House. The property is beautiful, the room was spacious and elegant, and there were many small details that showed genuine care and attention to make the stay pleasurable and memorable. The staff was warm and not intrusive. Staying at this property helped make our weekend visit to San Francisco one of the best of all time. We definitely will be happy to return and stay here again.

Free breakfast each morning was great! They also have a wine tasting at 5:30 pm. Staff were super friendly. Parking requires a reservation which wasn’t clear to us having booked through Expedia.

This is an oasis at the border of the Castro district. Breathtaking garden, very comfortable bed. I loved the decor and the healthy breakfast. Both store managers were super nice. I will stay here again!

We have stayed at the Parker House several times and each stay has been such a pleasure. It's lovingly maintained, has beautiful grounds & common areas, a nice light breakfast, and an enjoyable daily "wine o'clock". Love the feel of both of the lovely homes on this property.

I liked the continental breakfast. There is bread, mini muffins, and cut fruit. The hotel is very secure. We had to push a button to get in. The clerk came down the steps and let us in. The housekeeping is very minimal. Guests have to ask for towels or extra toilet paper. It is a great place to stay overall. Good neighborhood. The staff is helpful.

I had read all of the great reviews for Parker Guest House and had high expectations (so much so that we booked a whole two week stay!) Needless to say, it exceeded even those expectations. We had the most fantastic time. The rooms are great, staff are lovely, gardens are beautiful and it's really well connected if you need to get in to town. Also nice parks nearby, and lots of places to eat and drink. If we're ever in SF again, we'll be back.

Charming place with large, comfortable room and lovely sitting rooms, etc. Nice variety at the continental breakfast and great to have wine and cheese in the evenings. A definite winner and we look forward to staying there on our next SF visit.

Parker House is warm and welcoming. We enjoyed talking to the other guests. Hot cider in the kitchen greeted us on our late arrival-- a lovely touch! Hope to return.

Perfect location for exploring Mission and Castro. Friendly staff and very good breakfast. Nice common areas with garden for sunny days and living room with fireplace when it is best inside. A bit expensive, but will definitively come back to Parker, if we return to SF

Unfortunately we received a room in the basement. Windows with no screens, hence unsafe to open them. Dirty carpet, room 19. Room cleaning is offered on request, but they did not specify this as check in time so our room was not cleaned. Hospitable staff, beautiful gardens, nice breakfast selection.

The property is wonderful and the staff are amazing. The rooms with shared bathrooms are noisy because of the street cars. But the rest of the rooms are wonderful. This was our second stay here and it was like coming home.

We had two stays at the Parker Guest House in May. It is a slightly quirky establishment between the Mission and Castro districts. It is an oasis of calm on a busy street. It is a 2 minute walk to Dolores Park and also to the J Muni to downtown. There is also a bus route that goes East West. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Our arrival was slightly disconcerting as no-one answered the bell at the street entrance. We had requested a possible late check-in as we were flying into SFO from the UK and didn't know if we would be delayed in immigration - we weren't. So perhaps they weren't expecting us at that time. We eventually got in and were warmly welcomed. Our rooms for both stays were spacious and comfortable. One was upstairs, the other downstairs from the lobby level. There was a pleasant lounge area containing a grand piano and the furnishings are in keeping with the Victorian style of the house. There was an excellent breakfast buffet with some tables overlooking the well maintained garden - or you could sit outside and enjoy the peacefull air in the middle of the city.

Charming and friendly and comfortable, with gorgeous gardens to look out at or sit in with tea / wine / breakfast. Tricky if you have mobility issues (lots of stairs from area to area) but friendly, accommodating staff probably know what to do to make that easier.
