Place is a dump. Bed sheets were not clean and had pubs in them and stains and they smelt. It was dirty and disgusting

Awful. Couldn’t stay. Was too dirty. Too broken. Too awful. Could not rest there with broken doors, dirty sheets, shared toilets and bath. But of course they wouldn’t refund. And neither would hotel.com who I will never use again. This is NOT a hotel. It’s rooms above a pub BEWARE

No heating in the room. Common bathroom with no privacy for window .shower room is not clean and leaking water .Not recommended unless these issues attended . Bed duvet looks old and bedmaking is not done . The rest

Arrived at 14:30,room was cleaned as iwaited,on asofa full of glutter and flies They didn't know ihad booked until ishowed the screen ,everything filthy even bathroom No toilet role in the bathroom The duvet cover is black Customers run on stairs shaking the whole room,didn't shower due to filthness Very old carpet

For £45 a night, what do you expect? That said, the bathroom lights didn’t work, shower was stuck on what felt like full hot, the bathroom window blind was stuck open and I’m pretty sure the room”s previous occupant had been smoking in there.

Showers were black in places and apparently towels are only replaced every 4 to 5 days I was told.we did get new ones as had left them in bathroom door as I was told to day before.

It was very unique to spend the night killing Beetles in the bed, there was no towel so had I wanted a shower that would have not been possible. The staff were very friendly however. They could not control the evenings temperature, but I don’t think the insects had just arrived

Convenient location, cheap, but full of bed bugs (I must have killed around 20 of them, staining the quilt with blots of blood), and there was only hot water in the shower, not having the option to mix it with some cold. The room was a tiny attic, with no aeration, ending in being hot from some point onwards. I had to keep the door open to let some air come in and lower down the ambient temperature.

This was my email I sent to the hotel at dawn yesterday. They didn’t even bother to reply and presumably let someone else sleep in this infested room! Having stayed with you at the Midland Hotel last night, at the price of the room, I wasn’t expecting much. The fact that the room was not much bigger than a cupboard wasn’t ideal but it suited my needs. However, when i woke in the morning I noticed blood spots on the sheet and they had not been there before i went to bed. So I pulled back the duvet and looked more closely. I was horrified to see little bugs crawling over the bed i just slept on. That room should be condemned. It is not fit for anyone to stay in. I will await your response before contacting hotels.com and trip advisor as I think bed bugs are totally unacceptable. I have just thrown away some of my clothes that came in contact with that bed. I took a picture of one of the bugs. You can just about see it in the picture and can see from both pictures that it was moving as in one pic it was further away from the blood splatter. ImageImage

Not good at all.when i cheeked it i was asked how i was going to pay,cash or card. id already payed. room was not good at all. beds had no headboards and my bed was broken. the toilet seat was broken. i had a beer in the bar and it was off.avoid

Rooms are small & dirty only one bathroom on lower floor which was also very dirty black mould all around & inside the shower cubicle. Should be advertised as a hostel. The staff had no intetest in guests only the pub customers got made to feel welcome.

15 men sharing one bathroom must be against the law, no toilet rolls available, just a generally poor facility. we are rough arse metalworkers working all over the country and this was the worst we have been in for a long time, wont come again..

I got there early in the morning and so room wasn’t ready but they put my bag in the luggage room while I headed off to the centre. On returning later in the evening the fella behind the bar was most helpful with my many questions about Cheltenham area interests and it wasn’t too much to ask in requesting an extra towel to which he sorted for me straight away whilst also single-handedly managing the bar.

If you read the other reviews about it they are all correct. The place is cheap & not the most hygienic, you are basically paying for a bed. If you need a cheap room to stay right next to the station for easy access then here is your place, if you expect a towel, clean rooms or a comfortable bed then go somewhere else.

Cheap and cheerful. For us it was 'just a bed'. We didn't expect anything fancy and it served a purpose well. The staff are friendly, and we didn't get back till late so missed the karaoke action which was apparently good fun. The shower was cold which was wonderfully refreshing with a hangover. They also have a beautiful husky dog.

Late check in. Unclean shared bathroom. barely any toilet roll. No soap. Beds were on wheels so it moved whenever I moved. Unclean mugs in the room. The hotels outdoor lights shone right onto our window so it was like daylight. Awful awful hotel.
