The location was great, there is a bus station right outside where the buses go to the city centre. The hotel and the room itself were very cosy, warm and the staff very welcoming.
Our duvet had a stain on it, but otherwise the room was very clean.

Clean well equipped room, good to have tea and coffee facilities.
It was my 60th birthday and a card was put in my room but to be honest for this rating of hotel I was expecting more- I was really disappointed. A voucher for a free drink at the bar might have been nice or even one or two chocolates in the room. A real lack of thought and flair on the managements behalf. I have been to other hotels and they have done nice things like that. OK, it costs you some money ( not much) to have done either of those two of my suggestions- but looking after people, those little extra touches on such an important birthday are remembered and might mean a return visit BUT NOT NOW! It clearly means absolutely nothing to you but it does to me- very let down. I will go to a better place next time and won’t be recommending you to my friends.
