One night stay traveling through. Had to switch rooms twice because found carpet beetles in the first two rooms. Also found one in the third room, but didn't have much options because the site was full. The first two rooms were adjoining, and the last was in proximity. The sliding patio door didn't fully close in all rooms. The rooms and fixtures were dated and in need of an upgrade, as I believe is in the works. Otherwise, staff was accommodating, room was quiet and area was walkable. I believe other accommodations in the area were in similar conditions.

Super hotel for our family. We had a suite with two beds and a separate sitting area. Hotel is older but has been updated so it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great with 4 platter options and lots of traditional choices. Really nice staff. We didnt use the pool but the temp seemed good and we liked hanging out by fire pit and gardens. Easy walk .5 mile to the hub of slo but a few places to eat within a block. This would be a go to for any stay on slo

We really enjoyed our stay! Although the room decor reminded me of my house from the 90’s, everything was functional and clean. The room was a nice size, with a sliding door in between the bedroom and the living area. The breakfast was awesome! Made to order eggs, waffles, pastries, juice, yogurt, and much more! We will definitely stay there again!

Lobby is beautiful, pool/jacuzzi looked inviting! A couple fire pits & tables outdoors was very relaxing. Karina was so sweet and welcoming! She had the fire pits on and cushions out on chairs for guests to enjoy their stay and the beautiful evening! Our hotel room could have used a lot more care. Soap/shampoo was a bit disappointing, lack of quality & smell for both. Pool bathroom had better hand soap! Towels in our room felt clean but smelled more like they were stored in a cupboard for too long. The room also had a musk smell. Our beds had wrinkles on the top sheet as we walked into the room. Looked messy or just put together quickly. Our mattress was rough to sleep on. Both my husband and I woke up with stiff backs and didn’t sleep well, can’t believe they charge “resort fees” with the room already expensive and quality just not that high. Breakfast was above average though! Four different options to pick from and they cook it right there while you wait! Healthy options to choose from and plenty of everything! NOT one of those places that when breakfast ends everything is cleared and put away starting 30 minutes before the end of breakfast! Great staff who work hard to feed all these guests and keep breakfast area VERY clean. Overall we’d be back, but what definitely keeps us coming back is the employees, and breakfast because the rooms are just alright.

They are remodeling some of the property but the room I had was clean, roomy and served my needs perfectly. The breakfast was really good for a complementary breakfast, omelets cooked to order. I will say the I was completely satisfied

Love this place. The food is delicious. Happy hour is wonderful with best bartenders!! Rooms are being remodeled and are a nice beach theme now.

So nice to be back! Such a treat these days to have your bed made and towels freshened. So many hotels have lost sight of these small differentiators. Not to mention, breakfast was delicious.

The location, breakfast, and staff were incredible. The kitchen was small and we had to stand but the service was wonderful. The beds weren't very comfortable and neither was the sofa bed. the noise from the parking lot and street was loud. The customer service was great!

The location & hotel site is convenient for our travels, but we feel your room fees have gone up significantly! We will consider other hotel choices in the future.

This was a big surprise. The staff was excellent which is often the case, but the amenities were off the charts. We had just stayed at a hotel in Davis with charges for parking and breakfast. Here for the “resort fee” we received free internet (which is often all that is included), free parking, a free happy hour with complimentary wine and beer, and the best free breakfast that we have ever had bar none.

They are in the process of upgrading the rooms so many are under construction. Construction crew was very courteous and hotel staff fantastic. Place is clean and free breakfast better than many restaurants. Housekeeping does a great job of cleaning.

The room was very cold and smelled like mildew when we arrived. The room was very outdated and the bathroom light went out, we later discovered that the gfci had been tripped. They were renovating several rooms on our floor so there were workers around. Next time I will,ask for a renovated room.

Ample-sized suite style rooms - we had 1 double and 1 king room. The pool area was very social, nice fire pits. Evening reception with wine/beer and available bbq food poolside. I requested additional pillows because they only offered 2 on the bed. We did have an issue with our king room, none of the outlets seemed to be working, so nothing charged overnight. The breakfast was very good - cooked to order omelette and other options. Convenient location close to downtown. Next door there's a fab pizza place - Benny's - Detroit style pizza and full bar.

We have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. The rooms are large and comfortable and the made-to-order breakfast and manager's reception can't be beat. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Quality Suites in SLO. Hotel is at a convenient location, it was not in downtown but we were able to walk to the Thursday Farmers market. Hotel is a bit dated, but clean as others have mentioned. Hospitality is A , hats off to management and staff. We especially enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour.

We were very comfortable! Room is old but clean and everything works well! Our most favorite is the breakfast…it was made to order. The Cooke and the servers and everyone that work at the breakfast cafe were all friendly and helpful. Food was excellent! Will come back for sure!

Location is close to downtown SLO, close to the 101Fwy which makes it convenient to Paso Robles, Morro Bay and other locations. Rooms are clean and the amenities are great(breakfast and happy hour). Staff is great!

Really lovely hotel! Stayed for 3 nights for a mini-vacay. Originally planned on staying at Madonna Inn but glad we chose this place. Stayed on 1st floor and our room was next to pool and lobby. No carpets-all wood floors! Appreciated the spacious room since we had my 15 year old son. He liked having his own space and he chose to sleep on couch instead of pulling out the bed(kids!). We like to bring our own drinks so fridge is essential. Microwave was nice amenity as well. Staff was gracious and helpful. They would light fire pits on request which were so cozy. Free breakfast included scrambled eggs cooked to order! Several menu options. Waffles, hash browns and bacon/sausage too. Also they have happy hour 5:30-7:30 and you get free wine or beer during that time. I had Pinot Grigio and it was delicious. The pool area was small but well maintained. I used the hot tub morning and night. Temp was comfortable -not too hot or cool. The downsides were, coffee in lobby was scary or broken. 😬 Bed was very firm but I guess that’s personal. Staff member hassled us at 9:15 am on our last day saying it was “checkout day”. Checkout is 12pm! I fully intend to maximize time I paid for. Put your “Do Not Disturb” sign out!’ They are doing some remodeling and EV chargers were blocked by work vehicles or storage containers. Overall nice hotel that is close to town. Clean and quiet!

The facility was not equipped with good conditions. The room we stayed was in a bad condition and the toilet didn’t work at all. We had to use the bathroom in the hotel kitchen area. The AC didn’t work at all and the room smells awful. For the price we paid for (200 /night), it really was a bad deal.

Nice stay, great value, get more than you expect with a breakfast that goes above and beyond the standard continental breakfast, plus happy hour with free wine and beer (five quality taps!). Walking distance to downtown SLO is huge plus, too.

I'm very pleased with this Hotel. It was worth the money, The fresh cooked eggs is a really nice touch. While service can be more polished and friendly...It is courteous and responsive. Will book here again.

Stayed here one night as a stop on our way south. Room was spacious. Staff friendly. I booked this because it was rated 9.0 for cleanliness. I was disappointed because I would not rate the room the same. The room was very outdated and dingy.. Carpets were old and needed a good cleaning.

Very good value for the price. Close to Old Town, restaurants, and shopping. The room was clean and large. One could eat every meal there and save a lot of money. The only downsides were the ice machine was broken and there was a fair amount of noise from traffic. I would stay again.
