I really enjoyed my stay at Caliente Tropics. There was a live ukulele player performing at the Reef Bar by the pool. After dinner in town, we came back to listen to the performance but there was nowhere to sit or stand. We ended up out by the pool, but could barely hear the music. I only wish they had provided some sound of the performance to be better heard out by the pool.

We just love this hotel, our favorite part is the pool. The young woman at the reception was so nice and helpful.

Caliente hot Tropics was a nice vibe with Tiki decor - we were in a renovated room but I’m not sure how renovated it was. The shower did have some issues turning it on, the air conditioning worked good. I would say the plugs need to be updated and it needs to have more hooks to hang towels on. The pool chairs were a bit worn out with gaps in the plastic. I think with a few more renovations it would be much better.
The tiki torches at night were a nice touch. I would stay here again though. Thank you 🌴
