Great hotel - all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is walking distance to many places to shop and eat. The breakfast is much better than expected with made to order omelettes. Room was clean and comfortable. Delicious cookies at the front desk.

Everything was great about this hotel except the wifi and the repeat texts from them asking for more money that made me give a less than 5-star rating. Want an early check in? More. Want a higher location? More. Want a later check out? More. And then, once I left the hotel, I got an additional charge on my account for booking on-line through Hotels.com. Not too happy.

Great place to stay. Offers breakfast (which includes made to order omelettes) along with a complimentary drink and snacks in the evening. Staff was extremely friendly especially the bartender who not only served us great drinks but also got us a shuttle to go to dinner. Which was free. The shuttle driver Andre was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again

My favorite thing about this hotel is the consistency and then the staff, I stay here every week for work related reasons and theyve always been very kind and hospitable. Cj in particular has been sweet and congratulated my boyfriend and I on our 2nd anniversary. :)

The stay with Oxford was fantastic! The construction site behind and the vandalism and noise at night was annoying. However, not the hotels fault. The staff and facilities were great and I can't wait to stay here again!

I have stayed at many hotels, traveling for work and pleasure, and I found the front desk staff here to be exemplary. Professional on a level you would only expect in a bigger city. The room was very nice and comfortable as well.

We stayed one night for a wrestling tournament, the property is very clean, well kept and everything was in working order. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the delicious breakfast! All of the staff here was absolutely amazing!!!! So kind, courteous and helpful!!! We will always stay here whenever we come back to Chico area!!!

Great customer service, beds were comfy, overall felt nice. However, tv was broken (ant one point got past the screen in the photo but screen was pink and couldn't choose any channels), and mold growing in the shower.

Upon firs arrival we had an adjoining door that was tilted with a 1inch gap at top that allowed noise from the adjoining room to come through. Front desk was accommodating in moving us to a non-adjoining room. Our stay was great the first night. The second night we were awake from 10:30 to 2:00 am by teenagers two rooms down running down the hallway yelling out and slamming their door. I went to the front desk at 2:00 am to complain and was met with skepticism from the front desk person. The security guard was great. He was able to contact the group causing the noise and we were then able to get 4 hours sleep before we had to get on the road.

We stayed in the “presidential suite”. It was fine. The room just seemed to be filled with random furniture, instead of being furnished like a large living room dining room. I’d rather of had two sofas for us to sit on comfortably watching TV vs a high top dinning table and an even larger dining table for 8 with office chairs around it. The gym was nice and so was the pool area. Not sure when hotels decided to move towards a gray tone for walls and floors and lighting but it doesn’t feel modern it feels cold. Staff was great. Options to shop on site for beverages was great. It was really just the room. Also had an annoying snafu when it came to me trying to upgrade the room but the staff was very accommodating and worked their best to resolve it. Was much more of an Expedia problem. I’d say, if you find a hotel you like on here just call them and ask them if they can honor the Expedia rate.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to check out of a 2 day stay early. I was told by the clerk that I would be issued a partial credit for my unused stay. When I returned to the desk at 3:30 pm to finalize my checkout I was informed there would be NO credit given as it was past the check in time despite their own literature that states check in is 4pm. So the hotel gets a unit they can now rent for another night and saves their "free" breakfast buffet the next morning. Hardly a "friendly" business arrangement from the customer's perspective.

Our family traveled to Chico for a family gathering. We found the hotel to be convenient to restaurants and the freeway. All staff were friendly, we were given two rooms together, and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was nice - and the breakfast room was comfortable. We received communications throughout our stay to help with reminders and info about check-in, check-out, and housekeeping. We'd definitely stay there again.

Quiet rooms beside slamming doors. Very spacious. Staff was very friendly. They host a happy hour but I did not stop by. However, I saw many people there talking and enjoying themselves. Location is in walking distance from many restaurants and shopping areas. Seemed to be a safe area. I would stay again.
