This is an old hotel. As such, it lacks things like central ac and heating. There was a portable air conditioner in the room that required venting out the window, which required the window to stay open. This allowed all the outside noise to enter the room. There is only one guest elevator. It is very small and slow. They request that only 3 people ride at a time. So allow plenty of time to move in between floors. They have a very cozy lounge with very comfortable furnishings. If you're short on cash, housekeeping provides a QR code in the room so you can leave your gratuity. Interpret that as you wish.

The Hotel is an absolute pearl and offers a comfortable and beautiful place to stay when in Seattle. The food is excellent , the building has kept the beauty of past elegance and in addition provides a central location for many places to go in this cosmopolitan city.
