Our stay at Rosellen Suites was overall very good and would recommend. We stayed in the Classic 2bd/ 2ba. It was pretty dated and some things were falling apart (cabinet, hair dryer, drawers), but it was clean, which is what I mostly care about. Great location, walking distance to Stanley park, food, shops, etc. For the price, I would recommend and stay again. I would recommend paying for the guaranteed parking spot as well. If you want a "nicer" stay in the renovated unit then there is an upgrade option.

Previous reviews stated the property to be a little dated however i would suggest there is plenty of charm and character to the suites. We had a family visit with my mother, partner and 2 kids aged 6 and 2. The location was great with the hustle and bustle of Denman St offering plenty of places to eat and a great place to take in the evening with so much going on and such variety of restaurants and cafes etc. Literally a stone's throw from the suites is Stanley park so genuinely an amazing location and the suites were clean, quiet and so family friendly. Where the property really excelled was how generous they were with their time and constant offers of assistance and help. Kent was absolutely charming and could not do more to offer ideas of what to do and how to help. Any enquiries were responded to very promptly and he was also so polite and helpful. They assisted with early check in at no extra charge as well as holding our luggage on our last day as we ventured off for our final adventures. I could not recommend more highly and will definitely be looking to rent a suite again should we need to, very happy indeed with our stay and 5 star accommodation

Check in manager was super helpful and gave great dim sum suggestions. Denman street a few blocks away is full of amazing restaurants. Great location

I loved staying at the Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park. These cozy apartments really are right at Stanley Park so you can go for a walk or run. The staff were lovely, with a huge kudos to the cleaners. The office staff were helpful and cordial. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and quiet. The property has aged somewhat and needs some paint and minor repairs but nothing significant. All in all a great, really affordable and convenient place to stay in Vancouver.

We booked this 2 night stay through Expedia. The images that were presented for this property were NOTHING like the rooms themselves. The room was rundown, smelt old and musty, dirty couch, dirty fridge handles, bed was hard and springs could be felt through the mattress and the bed was squeaky. This all just by sitting on it. The lamp shades were stained and dirty. The tv stand had a door tilted from trying to fall off. The carpet had been overstretched so it was all rumpled. The overall condition was brought up to the front persons and he had a bit of attitude and blamed Expedia for the wrong representation. He showed me another room but it was in the same sort of condition so we actually opted to leave the hotel. We had booked a 2 night stay, and were refused a refund of any kind. I would not recommend this stay!

The property seemed like an apartment building converted into a hotel. The location was very convenient to Robson street, Safeway, Stanley Park, and restaurants. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was old and had a strange smell but very clean. It came with a full kitchen, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, and multiple small appliances. The bed in the master bedroom was old and bowed in the middle, and was uncomfortable for 2 people. Parking was extra and very tight for a mini van.

Our room definitely had been smoked in just prior to, the room had a horrible stale smell, the windows were open when we arrived and we could barely close them on our own. The gentleman that greeted us was very rude, cold and uninviting. Not helpful at all. This felt like a low budget motel.

The property is old. Furnishings looked like thrift store finds, but mattresses were new and bathrooms were very clean. The two room unit was good sized. We were there on a very warm weekend and wished they had central air. The office staff were friendly and very accommodating allowing us to check in early. The location is within walking distance to Stanley park and downtown, but the street itself feels residential and safe.

The building is dated and for the price charged, the units are in need of updating: single pane windows, no A/C except for a portable one in living room, no power outlets by the bed, window blinds are frayed and clunky. Sand paper for bathroom tissue wasn't a great touch either. On the plus side, there's plenty of room inside and the kitchen is usable, so is WiFi. Neighbors don't seem too rowdy for such a busy area. Lots of dining options nearby, and Stanley park is a stone's throw away. The worst thing really is parking; there are just 8 assigned spots outside and I couldn't take one reserved for me because someone partially overlapped it with their huge SUV. Street parking is possible if you're used to circling around looking for a spot but hard. Paid curb spots are free from 10 pm to 9 am so if you're just in the room to sleep and then leave in the morning, that could work. Otherwise, gotta take the risk and park in city permit spots; being from U.S., my Canadian parking tickets are extremely unlikely to be enforceable but if you're a local, this might be a concern.

The property is an older apartment building with very limited parking in the alley. At check in no one was there. We had to call and ring a bell until finally someone came. On the good side the room was spacious and clean

This property is very close to Stanley Park. My family and I were able to spend two days exploring the park on foot, it was wonderful. The staff at the property is very friendly and helpful. The building itself is a bit dated and we did not have AC in our unit, however they provided fans. Since it is a converted apartment building the units are very spacious and comfortable.

Property was very dated. Funiture arranged haphazzardly. Clean at the surface but a lot of areas need deep clean. Mattresses are sleepable. Parking is at the back of the building so annoying with a lot of luggage. Friendly people. Amazing location

We loved our stay. It was a great location, walkable to stanley park, the beach and lots of great restaurants. The room was quiet, clean and decently comfortable. I gave it a 4star only because somethings seem a little run down and could use an upgrade. Would definitely recommend.

The property is in a really quiet location and close to lovely walks around Stanley Park. It is also only a few minutes by foot to Denman Street where there are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. The suites are clean, comfortable and spacious, and the host is is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Rosellen Suites.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for 2 days following a cruise to see the city. The unit was a little dated, but the 4 beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. The staff was great! We left a phone in our suite when leaving. We called the emergency number and he met us at 630am and had already retrieved it! And we made our flight on time.

We spent one night for our family of 8 before a cruise stop. The communication was fabulous. The room was spacious and perfect. The area was great, fun dinner by the beach. Lots of fun restaurants and absolutely beautiful parks in the area!

The Hotels.com overall rating is very misleading. Our experience was very disappointing and very overpriced. The room was shabby and in need of repair. Missing lightbulbs, windows that would not open, damaged window coverings, carpet in need of cleaning, along with a virtually unusable elevator because of it’s tininess and slowness. The property could be charming if it was repaired and cleaned up.
