While the property was pleasant, I found the accommodations to be somewhat dated and the room we were assigned was quite small.
The layout of the room presented some discomfort; specifically, the air conditioning unit served as one of the bedside tables, which meant air was blowing directly onto the bed throughout the night. Additionally, we found that a dresser would have been much more useful than the large desk provided, which felt unnecessary given the limited space.
They did provide a voucher for breakfast to a cute coffee/bakery which had great food.

I love that it is in front of the Napa River and having both Marimoto’s and Angeles Restaurants for you to choice.
It is also so close to many tasting wines and cocktails rooms. This environment promotes you to walk and discover the heart of the action area!

Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Outstanding atmosphere and the staff went out of their way to insure my stay there fanatic.

Napa River Inn is in a great location in downtown Napa. Everything is within walking distance. Park your car (free), check-in, and never have to move your car. The rooms were well-appointed.
It is an older hotel with a newer section added on. We stayed in 204, which the plaque on the wall said the whole second floor used to be a roller skating rink. Like WHAT??? Take a look at the hardwood floors, and you can see it.
They run a deal with the bakery next door where you show them a coupon and get $10.00 off per guest for breakfast. Yummy food there!
The only knock was that we are used to having a bathroom in the lobby area (most hotels do). This was not a deal killer. We will stay here again.
