The wonderful couple who run it are amazing people. We were there to stay with my brother die, who lived across the street and the couple were very compassionate. Also the food was incredible!

This Inn is a great place to stay while you're in Napa. It's a creaky old house, so if you have people walking to their rooms you can probably hear them but to me it's part of the charm of staying in an Inn in Napa. The service was great, check in was easy, room was comfortable and clean and had a lovely tub for resting after wine tasting. Breakfast was good too, lots of food! Only a 10 min walk or less to town, so loved the location.

This place is amazing on been already four times and going back on Sunday

Walls are thin, the room we stayed in Casablanca had a lot of street noise and one of the blinds had way to much light coming in at 6am both from headlights and sunlight

Very beautiful 1906 building, perfectly renovated. Bed was comfy, bathroom clean and cute. We found it difficult to find this place at night, however, as their sign is small and not lit. Lots of driving around hunting for the place at 11 at night. Self check in, using codes, worked well. There is a full breakfast, however, no choices. We were served a waffle loaded up with cherry pie filling, and a large scoop of whipped cream. We don't eat like that, so we did not benefit from the breakfast portion of our stay, except for a tiny bowl of sweetened yogurt and canned fruit. I recommend asking what is for breakfast so you can decide if you want to stay or not. Overall a nice stay, but the breakfast issue kind of irritated me, as I hate wasting food, and it had to go back uneaten.

This is a lovely B and B. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and hearty…fresh fruit, blueberry muffins, breakfast burritos, waffles with fruit compote and granola with yogurt we’re served over our 2 night stay. The location is on main road but it was quiet and just a 10 minute walk to downtown.

Several years ago my husband and I stayed at an Old World Inn in Napa during an anniversary trip and we had good memories from that stay. I don’t know if this is the same Old World Inn as the last time, but the experience was not the same. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still cute and quaint and the property is very well kept, but for me it lacked the same warmth and personalization you usually expect when choosing a b&b over a chain hotel. Several other b&bs in Napa have some sort of evening wine hour or afternoon cookies. Even just a small glass of wine for guests since we’re in wine country of all places, would have been nice. Last time we stayed, I remember finding a bottle of wine and a nice ‘happy anniversary’ note waiting for us in our room and for me that was very sweet and memorable. Check-in is now contactless since Covid, so when finding your way inside the house and to your room, it kind of feels cold not having anyone welcome you or show you around. The living room and dining area is very nicely set up, but breakfast wasn’t anything special. I believe it was a couple of microwaved things and some cut up fruit. I will say though, the innkeeper is very kind if you have a chance to interact with her. Overall, the experience was nice for one night but not what we were expecting. I’m not sure what changed over the years, but maybe they had to pull back because of Covid. Either way, without the small touches of a warm b&b, you might as well choose a hotel.

Breakfast was very disappointing - served soft and barely warm Belgian waffle. At least it could have been kept in the oven so it was crisp. Doubt it was made there - probably frozen and just microwaved.

The innkeepers are true professionals. Also, they make some of the best breakfast burritos. We will be back. This place is highly recommended!

We were attending a concert at the Uptown Theater in Napa, and were looking for reasonably priced accommodations within walking distance of the theater. We were pleasantly surprised with the Old World Inn. This century old Victorian mansion offers several rooms, each with its own personality. The owners successfully work to maintain the old world charm in rooms rehabbed to provide modern conveniences. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed. The living and dining rooms were furnished with 19th century furniture, which was comfortably arranged to encourage relaxation and socializing with other guests. The morning breakfast, included in the room cost, was nourishing and good. It was much better than standard motel fare.

This was a charming old house with great service. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. We will plan to stay there again the next time we are in Napa.

It’s a beautiful place and would be great to stay in warmer weather. When we arrived the lobby was 58 degrees - not a pleasant place to hang out. The bed was hard, the pillows huge and too firm - I ended up stuffing a sweater for my head. You can hear walking overhead. There are WAY too many plastic flowers. Best thing is the breakfast.

Easy check in, it's an old building showing how it was back in the days, but very well kept. Looks amazing!

Disappointed with outdated room. Room deodorizer very strong ! Sheets felt itchy. Windows & curtains dirty & webs seen. Outdated decor that looks old & smelly. I emailed 1 week prior to arrival to request vegan option. The server gave a waffle with little fruit & horrible veggie sausage, while all other guests got more fruit, side of parfait & meat. She looked annoyed that I asked for dairy free creamer & told me I should have emailed. This was disappointing after we spent a lot to stay in private room. I did tell her I emailed, but she appeared annoyed with me. I stayed here years ago & had pleasant time. I won’t come back

Very clean and well maintained two houses right next to each other. The main house has the dining room in the main house. The breakfast is EXCELLENT and presented beautifully. It is an experience in of itself to have breakfast in a beautiful dining room with utensils.
Please be gentle and patient with the rooms as they are finely aged. I think for travelers who want a different experience from the hotels of th e are, i would highly highly recommend the Inn.

I was traveling with two other women and we stayed in the Harvest room. It was perfect! Very roomy, with two king beds. Breakfast was fabulous both times we ate. We were very happy with the price. I would absolutely recommend this place!

The Cabernet/merlo inn is a true gem. I loved my stay, walking around the gardens. Breakfast was amazing, and delicious. I enjoyed sitting around the dining table with other guests, like Europe. The lady who manages the place is very sweet and very informative. I’d stay there again.

Warm greetings. Clean and cute room. Easy walk to downtown area! Yummy breakfast. Friendly staff. Amvic, our hostess, was just lovely! Friendly, sweet. Made us feel welcomed. The only complaint I’d have are the pillows on the bed. Very puffy and firm. But that’s my own personal preference. Definitely would stay again! And bring my own pillow!
