Muy bien, a excepción de la mañana.

Está muy buen situado, tienes un carrefour express Justo en frente y varios bares y cafeterías en la misma calle. Muy cerca de la parada de Tranvía y de la estación de tren.

Se escucha todo, no hay una buena insonorización de las habitaciones. No escuchas el ruido de la calle, pero sí a los clientes que se hospedan en las habitaciones de al lado, escuché toda la conversación del huésped de la habitación de al lado. Además de al personal de limpieza. Desde las 8am ya estaban haciendo la limpieza. Escuché cómo rodaban muebles, pasaban la aspiradora… Si quieres dormir un poco por la mañana, tendrás que llevar tapones.

Pequeña habitación bien aprovechada.

la ubicación es excelente. Está céntrico y muchos restaurantes y tiendas.

Era una habitación muy pequeña, pero tenía de todo.

Centric little hotel with character, clean and convenient. Friendly staff!

It’s in the old town, the car park is very close, 5 minute walk (over the bridge by the station). The beds were comfortable and, although on a busy pedestrian street, we couldn’t hear the noise. The room walls are thin, but didn’t hear the neighbors during the night, only early morning. Modern decor, well equipped bathroom & very clean. The staff we all very nice!

Un poco engañosa

Lo que mas la cama y el balcon

Las habitaciones eran muy pequeñas, y el baño peor aun encima la ducha con cortina de baño lo cual en las fotos venian todas con mampara aparte de no poder casi moverte la cortina me parece mucha falta de higiene porque no creo que eso lo desinfecten ni cambien todos los dias. Y por la mñana los limpiadores hacen mucho ruido y se oye todo lo que pasa en la recepcion

Absolutely wonderful

It’s right at the casco Viejo. Surrounded by lots of restaurants. Very easy to get to all then,amor areas in Bilbao

They do not have an elevator. It was my fault not to ask about it before making the reservation. But the staff was so graceful they helped us to get our suitcases up in our room and also the day we left, they sent a person to help us to get the suitcases down. I highly recommend this property.

Stiflingly hot, stuffy room, no air at all. We were NOT made aware of festival stages 400m away and music went on all night until 7.00Am. We had no sleep at all. Ridiculous. We were booked in on our return to Bilbao at the end of our holiday for another 2 nights...I've since cancelled this. At over 110EURO a night it's not worth the money.

Good value but don’t stay if weather is hot

Really modern room. Big bed. Great location. Clean.

If it’s going to be above 25 degrees avoid at all costs - you get 2 small fans (no A/C). It was 40 degrees during our stay and we couldn’t sleep because the room was so hot. The entrance to the building smells badly of urine but you can’t smell it by the time you walk up all the stairs to the entrance.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff

Very friendly and helpful staff. We got a free room upgrade which was nice. Our room was nice and clean and the hotel is in a great location. They have a discount you can use for a nearby parking building too. It’s worked out to be €37 for us to park for 2 days.

The wifi didn’t really work in our room so we just ended up using our mobile data.

Location on point in the heart of old city Bilbao.

The location was perfect! 5mins walk from the metro and at the footsteps of the old town restaurants and shops. There is plenty of options and accessible to all the places to see. The highlight was the staff specifically how accomodating they were towards my needs of having a late bus to leave the city so I was able to use their facilities to change/ freshen up over to my travel clothes and prepare. I have to call out “Irantzu” from reception. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful from the beginning till the end. She helped me navigate my plans for the remainder of my stay so I can experience a bit of nature break from the city buzz by heading to beach and experience a bit of the local culture too. She is the gem of Casual Madones “thanks for putting such care into your customer service skills”. THANK YOU!

The rooms were cosy, but walls are thin and shower rooms in are fit for one person at a time, but good shower pressure which was nice. I’m not so tall, so I found the placing of the mirror in the bathroom is quite high, so I had to use my chair to brush my hair, but other than that, I saw it as a leg exercise in between hair brushes for laughs. No elevator, so prepare to carry your bags, but it will strengthen you. They are only on the second floor, so not so high to climb.

Very hot in the room. Our ceiling fan didn’t work but we did get a second standalone fan. Only 2 plugs so that was not easy to manage with also having to charge devices

Location in case you want to be in the middle of the old city. Rooms were clean.

Had to suffer noisy guests in room above ours who were partying during very late hours (they went quite after calling the manager who had to come). Rooms are ok for couples, but quite small for families. There is no lift either, had to bring our luggage & stroller to second floor ourselves.

Great value in a great location

Great value and well-designed room in a great location in the old town. Small but had everything we needed, comfortable bed too.

A bit warm in the room but not too bad. Be aware that there's no lift.

Good location, nice shower

The room was very small and the space was poorly used. It got super hot in the room and the fan didn't help much at all. I would recommend to book a room with street view rather that courtyard view, as those looked bigger and probably got more air

Great Location in Old Town

location was great - in the old town with restaurants and bars nearby; the tram stop was very close; modern bath with shower; there was someone on duty from 7:00 to 23:00 everyday and were helpful in giving suggestions on restaurants, calling cabs, etc. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very clean and modern.

Poorly planned room - bathroom door won't open all the way into the bath, so you have to practically step into the shower to get in the room - it should be a pocket door or sliding door or change the door swing into the bedroom area. Only other complaint was there was no luggage rack or a spot to lay your suitcase except the floor.

Very relaxing!

The hotel is in a great location and close to everything. The staff was kind and helpful, which is always a plus. Great amenities and I recommend staying here!

I could sometimes hear the people in the other rooms and the street can be a bit noisy in the night and early morning. The toilet area was a bit small for a bigger person.

Amazing location. Clean and modern facility. Lovely staff.

Billed as a hostel, but I booked a private room that was akin to a clean modern hotel room at a bargain price. Lovely welcome by the reception staff and a super comfortable room with good bathroom and shower facilities. The location is perfect.

Nothing. Although, you have to climb a couple of flights of stairs if that makes a difference to you.

Superb guesthouse in v convenient location

1 minute from Gran Via metro and round the corner from cracking tapas and breakfast eateries. Coffee and beer vending machine. Very clean and rooms all named after Spanish cities. Staff lovely and room v good size

Central location to restaurants and supermarkets at the front door. Friendly helpful staff. Modern room. Comfy bed and small balcony.

The bathroom is not practical. No bench space to put anything on. The shower cubicle is approx 70cm square base on the floor with an unhygienic plastic shower curtain basically wrapped around you. Room though modern is compact with again hardly space to put a suitcase anywhere. Wouldn't stay here again for these reasons.
