4 day family trip to visit Montreal. Location was within 5 minutes walking distance to many main sights locally. The staff were attentive and reacted promptly to any questions we may have had. Would stay here in future.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Greeted us with a smile at any meeting. We liked that there were 2 restaurants attached to the hotel especially because we had a huge snowstorm. Nice to have the option to stay in. Our room was cleaned wonderfully everyday. A comfortable place to relax and wind down. We enjoyed the history of the hotel and how they incorporated the old with the new.

We went on a trip to Montreal with another couple for four days. The hotel was lovely. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. If we travel to Montreal in the future we would definitely stay here again!

I do not have one criticism of this hotel. Everything was excellent: friendly and helpful staff, attentive concierge, delightful spa experience, delicious food and cocktails, spacious room, and comfortable bed. It's just across the street from the Basilica, and a block from old town where we ate at very nice restaurants, shopped at quaint little boutiques, and spent some time at the old port. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend the hotel to others!

Everything was good, upon returning to the hotel for the checkout process i saw an apple in the lobby and i saw it was for guests when i asked the lady at the counter if i could have an apple she replied it is only for guests and i can not have one. The other staff were amazing we had an issue with the toilet not flushing which was a little bad as it flooded the toilet and the bathroom, someone was sent up to clean and take care of it, after that we were compensated and everyone was really nice. Shame that lady really could have answered differently and changed the way the whole stay went.

We had an amazing romantic weekend getaway with my girlfriend. Rooms are very spacious with great ambiance and clean, staff are super friendly. Location is great you can walk anywhere. We’ll definitely come back.

We were booked into the hotel for two nights. The first night we were situated near a busy street and fronted by an office building that kept all the lights on overnight. The room didn’t have any curtains and the blinds didn’t effectively block out the light. Sleep was hard to come by. The next morning we requested a room change and another room was instantly made available. The staff were extremely accommodating during this process. In the evening we received a note from the concierge apologizing for our poor sleep the previous night along with a gift of macaroons. Every staff member we encountered on our weekend were extremely helpful and friendly. Well done!

Amazing stay - staff was very friendly. Valet was a great addition since parking can be tricky in this area and the cost was comparable to other parking garages. Front desk was very nice and accommodating. I had room service from KYO and that was delicious! Highly recommend staying here and will definitely be booking here again.

The bedroom, oh, it was an epitome of coziness! The plush bedding, soft pillows, and tasteful decor made unwinding after a long day an absolute delight. I found myself easily slipping into a peaceful slumber every night. However, while the hotel boasts an idyllic atmosphere, there's a caveat - the internet connectivity. The speed was unfortunately slower than expected, which might pose challenges for guests reliant on seamless online access. For leisure travelers, this might not be a significant issue, but for those on business or needing consistent connectivity, this aspect could be a hindrance. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was fantastic.

We have twice stayed at this wonderful hotel for about five nights during the Christmas holidays and recommend it very highly. Everything is superb - the beautiful and spacious rooms in converted historic buildings (we love the electric fireplaces and exposed brick), outstanding service, excellent restaurants, and central Old Town location. It has a relaxed, elegant feeling. We look forward to staying here again next year!

Beautiful hotel in Old Montreal. Around the corner from the Basilica de Notre-Dame. Walking distance to all the Old Montreal shops and restaurants. Very convenient. Every hotel staff we encountered was super nice and helpful. Room was spacious, clean with a large bathroom/shower. Loved the exposed brick on some of the walls. Definitely would stay here again.

Our two-night stay at the Place d’Armes was great! It is an excellent hotel in a great location just across the road from the cathedral of Notre Dame. The food and service in the hotel at Brasserie 701 was excellent and there were many other good dining options in the area. Our room was clean and bright with just one minor issue regarding a broken window blind on the corner facing the square and the cathedral which couldn’t be raised. Everyone on the hotel staff was helpful, efficient, kind and courteous, especially Enzo in valet parking. He greeted us upon arrival with a very friendly and warm smile and made us feel very welcome. He was also very helpful and courteous as we prepared to leave. He is the perfect individual to have greeting and bidding farewell to guests. We hope he gets a raise and a promotion because he deserves it. Many thanks to the hotel staff for a wonderful getaway.
