Great hotel location, art deco with French flair. Breakfast could have offered more choice. Bathtub water spout was scary loose.

Breakfast is minimalist - a couple of pastries, hard-boiled eggs and juice / coffee / tea. For the price I expected more.

The location was great.It had a cool retro decor style with lots of art. Staff were all friendly.

Lighting in our room was far too dim.Breakfast should have a few more selections, maybe some fresh fruit . It was exactly the same 3 mornings in a row.

The location and the staff were amazing. It is situated in the beginning of Old Port and between two Metro stations. So accessibility to transportation was very easy. The rooms were spacious with very high ceilings. It was clean and organized and I would totally recommend the hotel for the money.

There are two things that I wish where a bit different. I wish the rooms had a bit more lighting, there were not enough lights in the room and I guess this is a personal preference. I wish I had chosen a high level room, possibly on the second floor and above, this falls on me but at some points at night and this is during a 2:30-3:30am period where you could on occasion hear people screaming on the street.

The hotel was walking distance to most tourist spots

loved the location., The staff was always ready to help. The room was a good size. the pastries for breakfast always fresh. the hotel was old - loved the vibe. It was very clean.

the bed mattress was really uncomfortable. I wish the staff at the front desk were more educated on the artifacts that are on the 1st floor. Nobody knew if the paintings were for sale. or the what some of the items were, for example what was the glass blocks with the steel door. or the statue of the man in the corner..

Decor and room were outstanding. Staff was excellent. Location was perfect, no more than a 5 minute walk to the start of old town attractions

the location is pretty good, the hotel is close to beautiful places, port, and shopping malls, cafes. The baked goods are fresh and delicious. The room is very clean and neat.

The room is fairly small, it does not have any slipper to use in bathroom. It does not have the toothpaste and toothbrush in the room. The paint and paintings on the walls are a bit dull and gloomy. The breakfast has very few items to choose from, not any egg or milk, only some baked goods and coffees, hot chocolates or cappuccino.

Location is great for old Montreal. Really enjoyed the artwork. Very eclectic.

A hotel with a very peronal touch, in a historical building, not just the standard place. Large room, very comfortable and beautiful. Great style. Very friendly front desk staff.

At the time I stayed, there was no breakfast due to some refurbishing going on.

Friendly, responsive and courteous staff, great location, fun objects d’art throughout hotel, great beds and bed linens were super comfortable.

Lobby stairs carpet is terribly worn and shabby, assigned wrong room class at check in, but was resolved and even upgraded, no robes or slippers in a “suite”, no complimentary bottled water in a “suite”, worn and shabby bath mat, 1 towel per person, bathroom tissue not restocked, coffee mugs but no coffee maker. These are all trivial and slightly annoying, however, not having any hot water in the mornings and evenings for 3 days is unacceptable. Clearly the hotel needs an update and better maintenance. Supplies also may be an issue.

My room was over the street. Night time was quiet, but noise in the morning.
