Our Santa Monica Cottage is your own haven complete with all the conveniences of home. This cozy space has been designed with your comfort in mind, including a new kitchen that's outfitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. You'll have internet access so you can keep in touch from the moment you arrive, or stream movies and music to enjoy on your TV. ★ COVID-19 SANITIZATION ★ Heath, safety, and wellbeing of our guests are of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we use a thorough and extensive process of cleaning after each check-out. We charge a pet fee of $75 per stay for two pets maximum. This increases to $150 / week and $200 / month for longer term guests. Please submit a special offer with this additional fee included through the platform when you book the unit for more than 7 nights. *If you neglect to inform us ahead of time that you are bringing a pet with you than we reserve the right to either TERMINATE your stay early or charge an additional $100 on top of the original pet fee. The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (we often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed): 1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $50 1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $100 2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $200 These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes our cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which we hold them to. ● You must be 21 years of age or older to book a reservation, and an individual who is 21 years of age or older must be present throughout the duration of the reservation. ● Please no eating or drinking in the bedrooms (closed water bottles are an exception). Additional cleaning fees to remove food/drink stains will apply. ● Please no smoking on the property. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtray provided on the front patio. An additional fee to remove stains/odors from cigarettes will apply. (smoke is really hard to get out) ● Pick up all trash before departing. Place all garbage in an outside trash can. ● Please wash all dishes. If the dishwasher was used, please run and unload the dishwasher prior to departure. ● Do not open the windows. This is due to the extra security measures we have installed. ●Do not overload the washer/dryer. Do not wash sandy beach items or towels in the units. Empty the dryer lint trap after EVERY USE. Additional fees will apply if units are damaged due to improper use. ● The storage room is to remain closed at all times. ● Consumables such as condiments or snacks may be left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests’ discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. ● Please do not rearrange the furniture. ● If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in additional cleaning or maintenance required, guests will be responsible for additional cleaning charges. In the unfortunate event that neighbors are disturbed, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. ● NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY OR GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY We will be available when needed. There are many important aspects of a neighborhood, but for the most part, people only pay attention to how it appears and what makes it unique. For instance, one might take note of the age of the buildings or the number of languages used on store signs. The Englewood neighborhood in Jacksonville has some remarkable features concerning its appearance and manner of life that are deserving of mention. Guest will have access to the whole house. We appreciate the host for having us over. The place is exactly as was described and expected. It had more than enough beds and space for our family to celebrate the holidays and enjoy the local business. The place is well done and cozy. Kudos to who did the decor 😘. Check in and check out was a breeze. We will definitely keep Andrew and Melody in mind for our next visit. PS the place is 15mins to everywhere with no traffic. The Freshfield Farm Market was a special treat. Thank you

We travel every year to Jacksonville to spend Thanksgiving with family in the area. It has been a challenge to find a nice place close by since the area we are visiting is an older part of Jax. This house was by far the best. Simple, incredibly clean with plenty of space. Even the yard was clean and safe for our little dogs. We would definitely like to make this place a yearly stay for sure.

Amazing property in a great location just outside of town. Close to great golf courses, the beach, shopping, restaurants, and downtown. Home is well kept, clean, and perfect for our group of 8 friends.

Very nice home! Open and plenty of bedroom space. Convenient to stores and restaurants and minutes away from the beach. Just a few suggestions - needs more cooking pans. The bedroom off the side of the home needs ventilation - room gets pretty hot, and shower heads need upgrading. Home is prefect for a girls trip! Thank you - we enjoyed our stay!

Arrived to property to find dirty and not as described. Yard had not been mowed in a couple of weeks (grass half way up to my knees), trash can sitting on porch and overfilled, dead insects at front door and inside home, not all rooms have AC - a detail that should be in listing. Unable to open back door to back yard -I would consider this a fire hazard. Smoke detector disabled. Bath tub filthy, return air vent in hallway solid dust. Heavy dust on ceiling fans thru out, toothpaste splattered on vanity and mirror in one bathroom. Dirty silverware found inside the centerpiece on the eating table. My family and I did not stay here and went to a hotel. Wasn't able to speak with host until following morning. Requested full refund. He would not do full refund - his excuse is that I did not cancel in time for him to relist the house. Uh - I didn't plan on coming in after driving 18 hrs and being dog tired to have to scramble to find a hotel that is also pet friendly (we had our 2 small dogs with us). He asked what all was wrong, after telling him as much as I could remember I was accused of "picking the place apart." My main proboem was the master bedroom had no AC. And if it can't be air conditioned, then put that detail in the listing! I consistently disputed this transaction and the host, Andrew, refused to do refund. I only got a 65% refund. Lost out on $500. Be sure to do research on your host before booking. Beware of this jerk.

Andrew & Melody are great communicators. The split floor plan & layout of their home with plenty of bed spaces was awesome for our extended family. Their yard is fenced, perfect for the dog. Located near a Super Walmart for grocery run. We appreciated the coffee pot & blender. Most importantly, their place is clean. Best bang for the buck! We will try to stay there again the next time we’re in Jacksonville. Thank you!

Located within east driving distance from the Stadium this place worked great for a football weekend. Plenty of room for everyone’s needs and lots of options when it came to food in the area. Communication was easy with the property manager, place was clean and comfortable. Defenitely will be a top choice for next season game weekends
