The location, the pool and the breakfast.
It’s a bit cold environment. They need to add plants and decor inside. Too austere, it lacks cosiness.

Gorgeous view: coast and ocean. Wonderful location. Delicious breakfast and very beautiful interior.
The room was definitely not 20 m2: it was surprisingly small such that one has to dance around open luggage. The cleaning service is not truly cleaning the floor: you could always see traces of dirt or hair upon return. But most annoying is a very unfortunate choice of do not disturb sign, which gets stuck in between the door and frame when you close from inside: people end up banging doors very loudly in an attempt to close it from inside with the sign on. I did give this feedback at the reception: they looked very surprised:)

The palace is amazing, with great views from the breakfast room and a sense of grandeur throughout the hotel. We loved it
The room had a distinct smell of mould or old castle that we could not get out and it even got into our clean clothes. The location is very close to the centre, as long as you have a car

was given a 'sea view' room on ground floor and all i could see was a parking lot, a wall and 'Burger King' - to see the sea i had to stand on a chair or go out onto the balcony and either stand on a chair or look to my left (see property photo 2) From the room I could not see the sea. I asked a refund on the room price and was told that management would look into it - have heard nothing further.......and have not had a refund. The ground floor rooms should be given out as partial/limited sea view and definitely not as 'sea view'
they add water to the fresh orange juice in the dispenser at breakfast - why ? there is a carafe of fresh water if one does not like pure juice
limited choice of drinks at the bar ie no tonic, no sangria , were served red wine that was off - they apologised and wrote back the cost but were not prepared to open another bottle
no other leisure facilities except outside pool - in all the other 4 star hotels we had spa facilities as well sauna, steam, jacuzzi
The hotel is but one year old however it does not seem that any real effort is being made to improve the very bare garden - just a few trees here and there - the neighbour further up the hill has a very lush and green garden so the contrast between the two properties is enormous
The hotel is quite far from the centre so it would be nice to have a shuttle service (just a suggestion)
