This is a great place to stay. It's pretty central and close to the Rialto Bridge. They gave great recommendations on where to do and what to do. You get to control the room temperature and the bathroom was super clean as well. Would highly highly recommend staying here! :-)

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Room service could be better. The manager spoke very good English and gave excellent visitor points of interest suggestions and quality maps.

Stunning view from our canal balcony, air conditioning worked a treat, walking distance from all the sites, clean classic Venetian style room, extremely helpful staff, felt very safe and free Netflix was a great touch. 10/10

Perfect location! -walking easy access to Doge‘s Palace and St. Marco Basilica, Rialto Bridge and all of Venice. Google maps helped too but it was fun to just walk and take different routes and explore the city, bridges, passages and canals. The room with a canal view was perfect. Tiziano is a wonderful host providing a map and recommendations on what to do, where to eat and how to make the most of your time in Venice. Highly recommend scheduling a morning guided tour of Doge Palace/Basilica with “The Tour Guy” online beforehand -very informative. Definitely do a gondola ride. The gondolas are everywhere so avoid the busy areas. Great gluten free food widely available and make sure to try lots of different flavors of gelatto! Very simple to take the Alilaguna Blue Line water taxi (buy tickets online ahead of time) from San Marco airport to Nove stop and then a 7 minute walk to the hotel. Hotel Al Sotoportego is excellent and we highly recommend it for a lovely two-night stay as a couple in Venice! Thank you Tiziano!
