The room was perfect for my use and easy to access as communication was great and upfront. The location is very central with only about 7 min walk to the railway station, is in the old town of Lucerne and has plenty of great restaurants outside the property.
The sound of the restaurants can be heard till closing time, more on the weekend. Not a problem with a closed window and not disturbing too much.

Good location, they provided water, room was comfortable enough.
Happened to come during a heatwave which was the worst. Too hot to shut windows, but people down the street were loud at the bar until 2-3am often. Street sweeper at 5-6am super loud. Flies came in due to open windows, but necessary evil due to heat. Good concept but bad timing due to the heat/weekend for me.

The geographical location is very good, next to the river.
Walk to the train Station about 10 min.
We live on the 3rd-floor , which is a little stuffy and dark。
It's a little noisy at night, because there is a restaurant downstairs. But it doesn't so much affect the rest, because the scenery there is wonderful!
The bed is large and comfortable!
I wish in room could have a freistehende Kleiderständer to hang clothes.

Central location in an historical area of the city. Reasonably nice room, functioning equipment.
The touchscreen where to type the code to obtain the key was old/hard to operate. I had to insert the code maybe 8-10 times before it actually took the correct code in - when pressing the confirmation button it would add a number to the code instead.
The entrance area and stairs is very, very budget, almost dingy I'd say. The room was fairly small, had reasonably nice features but the windows frames, the curtains and the radiators do not quite match the quality of the rest of the room.
The duvet and the pillow fabric had a strange relief pattern that I didn't find comfortable.
The room was quite warm and I had to leave a window open overnight to let some cool air in. I wouldn't want to stay there in the heat of summer.
I found the price a bit too steep for the budget nature of the hotel and the room I was given. I have been in other hotels in the area with similar quality rooms and they were about 30% cheaper (circa 105 chf, vs 135 chf).
