The building was an astonishing palazzo located in a lovely lively square.
They serve brekfast in the incredible living room with frescoes, but it is an extra.
Location was just perfect to visit the Biennale.
Lovely authentic restaurants and cafes nearby.

The location was good,close to the taxi stop and local shops and restaurants.
Room was very clean.
It was really old,had the very old look with 18th century look.
Cobwebs were seen as well as NO elevators!
Had to carry our suitcases up 6 flights of stairs!
The pillows were flat,very uncomfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel La Residenza and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. The location is excellent, close enough to walk to the main sights, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet square that feels much more relaxed than the busier tourist areas. There are plenty of lovely restaurants nearby, and it was nice to experience a more residential side of Venice.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning was great, esp as it was so hot outside. After a long day exploring the city, it was wonderful to return to a cool, quiet room and get a great night's sleep.
The building is full of character and charm, giving you the feeling of staying in a historic Venetian residence rather than a standard hotel. The staff were ok and helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast was a nice way to start the day.
Overall, this was a comfortable, peaceful, and well-located hotel with plenty of Venetian charm. We'd definitely stay here again.
